A little ban rant.

I got banned, permanently. For calling someone a "ret..." and to learn how to land in Ranked. PERMANENTLY. This is ridiculous. In titles such as Valorant i'd get voice/chat ban for 3-4 days. Im not saying i did right or shouldn't have kept my composure but let's get real - the playerbase that actively spends money for COSMETICS that offer no advantage and is supporting/enjoying this wonderful for the most part game for what it is 95% of the time, is being permanently suspended from accessing their account for a bad word? Can we get real? Let alone how broken the ranking and matching systems are... You can't be matched with level 10 new account , clueless of how the game works , throwing your game and not get frustrated since this shouldn't happen in the first place. Correct me if i am wrong , except for the "being toxic part" , their policy is down bad. I don't even want to excuse myself , i am emotional and that's it. It's just ironic that i've been matched with people who actively swear in voice and also chat , report them and meet them days later happily playing , while the scenario above happened literally yesterday. Yes , i often meet the same people and by nature i am good at memorizing names as if they're stuck in my head.

I am not saying i'm right , I AM NOT , we all should restrain from rage/frustration/toxic behavior whatsoever yet EA could handle stuff like this far better with chat restrictions rather than completely mess up entire account you've spend 300€+ , supporting their game while in return they can't even bother making different solutions for different issues. For 1 offensive word , literally , in the entire massage. I know some will say "meh , 300€ is nothing" - for some may do , for some may not it's up to you. Also i've played the game for just a month so i have..or should i say "had"? many missing skins i wish i had.

My sincere apologies for the rant , i just had to let it out. Thanks for reading, friends.

  • You literally ask for it when you completely use extremely inappropriate language.  Re is very derogatory.  I have no sympathy and it most likely wasn’t your first time doing it.  Anyone who is toxic towards others by very offensive language should get perm banned.  I have nephews, kids, and know many young ones playing this game.  Time to grow up.

  • @Voidraker Not going to get into a parenting discussion, but if you want to protect your kids from bad language and what not, you sure the hell shouldn't let them play online games with random strangers like this...
  • @Voidraker Champ, can you not pretend as if bad word have never left your mouth nor act as some pseudo guardian angel? Your kids and nephews, judging by your wording i'd assume they're quite young and i bet they use way, like way worse language than that one word. I am, unfortunately for me, often being matched with quite young kids, if i had to guess around the age of 10-15 based on their vocabulary, that rage and curse like crazy.

Am not asking for symphaty from you. As stated, it was just a little rant towards EA and how they handle things, nothing more. As i said, for way-too-sensitive people like you, there are in-game filters and also as stated above, in other titles voice-chat penalty exists. Permanently termiting account for a bad word is plain wrong. Youtubers/streamers are constantly swearing/cursing like crazy and your kids likely still simp for their "idols" , but i am the devil for not being "influencer" therefore i deserve a lifetime ban? That's...quite the double standard. You can't expect competitive game without emotions , that's simply how we are arranged as a human beings. You have it in any sport, including e-sports.

@OutcxstWiggin the youtubers and streamers that swear are usually in a private chat or squad when they do so, from what I've seen. So not really the same as your situation.

I have chat muted to avoid this nonsence coming into my ear, and certainly have no wish to interact with other people's children. I suggest you do the same in your new account.

@Voidraker I insist that youngtree mutes chat too, unless he is playing with friends he knows irl.
