- @RXYRP I have negative aim assist on my Xbox series x. Not joking. The game is broken worse than I’ve ever seen. About one out of ten games everything seems normal and on a level playing field. That’s not good enough.

It’s upsetting that the AA problems still haven’t been addressed.
Honestly, it’s happening to me most often when I aim at Ballistic— he seems to be the only legend I’m having issues aiming at. I wonder of his inclusion is somehow tied to a bug that impacts aim assist.
- @Axs5626Sxa5001 Supposedly last seasons sound issues were due to the nemesis and as ballistic is new this would line right up with the new thing being the issue.

Yeah. And the potential culprit (Ballistic) also has an aim related feature to him (the smart pistol), so if all this were found to be some sort of weird Ballistic related line of code, that certainly would make sense. - CCbathwater3 years agoSeasoned Ace
It's tiring anyway. Either AA is on or it's off, stop messing my sens every other month. After trying Firing Range yesterday, I just gave up, as one dummy would have slowdown and the next one wouldn't. As I said, it's either on or off, but not on/off/on/off/on/off. Make your mind up, Respawn. And as I've also said... 3 years ago, make a setting so you can switch, what do they call it "rotational(?)" off independently from the slowdown.
i fixed my aim assist in the firing range on xbox series s and pc from the front of the dummy, from the back of the dummy there was never any aim assist problem.
how i did it is i reset the video setting to default, and that worked for my pc, my tv is 1080p and i had set my xbox video to 720p and there was no aim assist from the front of the dummy. so i changed my xbox series s resolution from 720p back to 1080p and then i got my aim assist back.
then in xbox settings i reset the resolution to 720p and i still had my aim assist.
so for some reason the resolution is whats making the aim assist weird.
i also reset my other settings tabs but not the audio tab, to default and after i got my aim assist back i reset my controller settings to what i had before.
now its like aim bot on xbox series s the movement is a bit wonky now with strange stutter and the aim wants to lock onto the dummy. theres something weird going on oh well i told you now i go and fry my opponents with my new found aim assist powers on the xbox series s! 🙂
i tried a game on xbox series s and my aim was like cheating it was so good my aim assist is beautiful and i won the game too. so my funny fix for the aim assist bug works in game too.
i forgot to add because it seemed i didnt need to point it out but now i think about it how would you know, is i had to be in the lobby when i set the video and other tabs to default and backed out of the game in xbox series s to reset the resolution to 1080p then i went into the firing range and there was aim assist from the front of the dummy and then in the game.
after i got my aim assist back in the firing range i set my resolution back to 720p and after i got out of the game and went back into the firing range my aim assist was gone so i exited the firing range and went to xbox home and settings and tv resolution and reset my resolution in xbox series s to 1080p and then went back into the firing range and i got my aim assist back.
