@PracticalZ This game is FLOODED with cheaters, so much so that in the ALGs, some of the pros got hacked to where you could see a cheat GUI showed up on their screens, and then suddenly the pros had aimbot and wallhacks, despite not cheating themselves.
In other words, the game is so open to get hacked, that cheaters apparently can now inject cheats onto whoever they want, and let's not forget a few years ago when the game got hacked when we started seeing the "save Titanfall" as the only mode we could "play".
The game needs a new anti-cheat, and more people on the security team. The number of cheaters cheating, people losing their accounts to cheaters, etc. is insane, and EA/Respawn is mainly silent about the whole thing.- RaginSam2 years agoSeasoned AceThat’s wild! That hacker is doing the Apex community a favor if EA actually wakes up from this. The game is infested with cheaters.
- @HappyHourSumwur meme company, meme anticheat. As long as there are micro transactions and profits - they are happy with the end product.
nope, they will just add more skins and micro-transactions, ez profit
Specifically to imperial hal and genburten. Since saying the word will get this post auto removed, i'm refraining from it but it's obv what it is. Literally in a custom game hosted by ea and this happens infront of hundreds of thousand. This season has been great but mahn, this issue is at the worst. Never ever seen anything like this in esports. It got postponed and lets hope this makes their process of looking into it faster and they fix their issues https://100001.onl/ https://1921681254.mx/
I'm glad this is happening but at the same time it's ridiculous, I've been complaining about the amount of cheaters for years and I've always been ridiculed and suspended many times from this forum just for forcing my idea that the company wasn't doing anything to regards, but now that the professionals, of whom we know that many of them have used or use tricks, are complaining and this really makes me laugh.
these very important attacks must make the company wake up that when many of us simple players complain we don't do it because we are not able to play but because there is irrefutable evidence also from their beloved professionals who however now cry because they find themselves on the side wrong.
I conclude with my thoughts, in my opinion whoever is hacking these accounts is only showing us the truth of who they really are and how they got there, I assume that the hack team that is doing this thing does not take the data directly from EA or anything else but from data already in their possession for obvious reasons, follow the white rabbit into the hole.
- @satvichit2 I'm very happy with what happened, but don't you suspect that whoever did it wants to reveal some secret to us? or rather make you understand how you actually get to certain levels?
If you have sensitive data on your PC I recommend just uninstall the game and never install it again. Because respawn is pretty low end company, they are not capable of making engine level changes. They can't fix the audio for 3 years and blame the engine, this is the proof they don't have a much idea about what they are doing.
So even they fix this, they would be others. The guy who does this is just do it for fun. If he had malicious intents he could do execute code on everyone plays the game and cause very big problems. It was not a simple cheat, the guy run executables on the PC of the players he choose. So he can install keyloggers, trojans backdoors or anything on your pc if he likes to do so if you just launch the game. He can gain access to every one of your accounts, including the banking or he can steal your credit card.
I don't think I'll ever launch the game again unless they prove they hired a good development team and removed all remote code execution capabilities from the anti-cheat and the game itself.I don't think it was done via game itself. If was and hackers can access anyone's PC via game, then EA/Respawn will be in huge trouble.
PSA: There is currently an RCE exploit being abused in Apex. It is unsure whether it comes from the game or the actual anti-cheat
I would advise against playing any games protected by EAC or any EA titles once they have fixed this or can comment. Currently, the RCE is being abused to inject cheats into streamers machines, which means they have the capabilities to do whatever, like installing ransomware software locking up your entire PC.
UPDATE: EAC claims no vulnerability on their end. This post also is non-existent on the general forum landing page despite activity.
