I always said Olympus was not good because of the multiple open areas (although they did a good fix with the last update), but man SP has so many zones where there's literally zero cover, not sure why they did not put some simple rocks to solve it, it's just painful to watch the endgame when it happens in open sea lmao.
@Cheese9Man I really hope they change SP with Olympus or even KC, it'd be much more enjoyable to play and watch.
@Cro_PitttYou know why the end zones are so limited on SP? You can't end in the following areas: OB mountains and areas with wildlife. This eliminates a huge portion of the map. There are way more wildlife areas eliminated than you would think. Not to mention the sheer lack of buildings.
They'll never use KC again unless they add a huge chunk of land. The pros would revolt. Olympus tho should be used. I see no reason why it cannot be.
Watching that one match where OpTic had the only good ground, and the end was just a turkey shoot of everyone else in the water (Omaha Beach Sim)
I generally agree with the exception that once again, looking for ALGS to solve EVERYTHING for the game is what got us into the now broken ranked system in the first place. So, maybe what's good for ALGS isn't necessarily good for everybody?
Having said that, sure, improve Olympus, much as I love it. Get rid of the tree ship. But...again, usually Respawn has ruined maps more and more instead of improving them, World's Edge being the glaring example of that.
Final rings in open spaces just suck, especially in ALGS where everyone is playing for position until the last second. Makes for less entertaining fights, IMO.
Really seems like a programming issue and that they could make sure the ring closes in places that have at least a little cover.
