Allfather I Have Returned

Ooof

Must have been gone about 3 years at least.

Some things remain instinctual, but oh lord. I feel like I'm back to my first drops!

So... Allfathers, brothers, sisters, and foes... give me sight...

What's new?

Gimme some tips!

What guns/gear/whatever 'should' I be using?

How to get back into the swing of it?

Typical Bloodhound main.

Help me become a legend again.

  • @1ronKeys 3 years? Well the good thing is if you can aim, shoot your gun and move a bit you'll be back to normal in no time. Me tho, if I miss a week I'm lost for quite awhile.

What's new? Way to much to sum up here just get in the game and work it out, if you stick with BH his kit is basically unchanged.

What guns/gear/whatever 'should' I be using? I say any Smg paired with the Hemlock.

How to get back into the swing of it? Trial by fire, Play, Play and then Play some more you will get there then.

Welcome back and have fun in the Outlands.

    I remember you!

I can aim, a bit, shooting isn't too bad.

But by lord, I cannot see anything.

I am not quick at all anymore either! Got 3 kills in one game though, so slightly happy there.

@1ronKeys I didn't see that reply but sometimes really lengthy ones get bugged and disappear.
  • It might have been mine!

Not sure exactly what happened to it, I think it got tagged as "spam" and removed.

Glad it helped you! (I think) 🙂

    Here's some thoughts:

    1.  There are new casual, respawn upon death, game modes that you will find under the name "Mixtape" -  A 3-point Control mode, TDM, and a four squad gun game.  Playing these should help you regain your skills and confidence with low consequences and no saved stats.  They are also very good for completing battle pass challenges.

    2.  New to you weapons that are very strong are the Nemesis, Rampage, CAR, 30-30 Repeater,  and a re-vamped LStar, to name a few.  ARs have been nerfed a bit and the 301 in particular is no longer as strong as it once was.  Right now is a bit of a poke and SMG meta.

    3.  While they are still good, Bloodhound has slipped down the tier charts quite a bit since you played.  They are fine to play still, but has been nerfed since their heyday, the scan meta has gone away to some extent, and power creep from newer legends might make them more attractive to you.  Good news is that you can now play all legends in the Firing Range to see if they suit you.  Speaking of Firing Range, it's had a big update and can be more useful than before for practicing.

    4.  Matchmaking is still pretty tough on the solo q player.  You will most likely get thrown right into the fire in that regard, despite your long break. and especially if you had good stats from before.  So good luck out there, Legend!  Glad to have you back.
