Am i the only one who thinks Respawn have done a good job!?
It seems when scrolling through this forum, that no1 actually appreciates how good this game actually is. It’s been out for like 5 weeks and when comparing it to other battle royal games I’ve played, it’s brilliant for how many weeks it’s been out. The things that stood out to me and hooked me was the really good implementation of respawning thirsted teammates. A brilliant ping system making it possible (yes it can still be infuriating with the wrong people) to play with randoms without any mic if necessary. The speed at which the games play out with 60 seeming to be the magic number with squads of 3, to me this makes the games play out at a good pace, and the squads numbers make it possible to take out full teams if you have a team mate knocked. The looting also is fast when comparing to blackout when it comes to looking in body bags, and the auto equip of items to guns that can take them allows you to loot quickly after killing enemy’s. The character movements are quick and feel consistent and easy to control. I could go on and on.
yes there are a lot of things that do need ironing out once you have played the game for quite a few hours these become apparent. Such as slight weapon balancing ( although I think this is pretty good minus maybe the wingman even post nerf). Little things like your teamates banner appearing the size of a house on his crate leaving it impossible to see an enemy standing behind it. The slo motion server glitch at the start of some games. There are numerous more that I can’t think on top of my head.
The overall point I’m getting at is that this game is new and fresh and nurtured correctly will become an absolute beast. Making knee * reactions can be a bad thing ( I come from a lot of hours playing fortnite) where updates are thrown out every week and things just get ruined. I honestly think that Respawn are trying hard to get everything right without breaking the game as they go.
