Am I the only one who's not really excited about season 7?

I know I should be, we are getting a new map and apparently a new permanent game mode, what I will definitely check out, but doesn't make me excited at all like I used to be in passed Seasons

Some reason can't really stay positive, I know I should, but since season 5 always the same thing in my head, New legend, maybe a new gun but, servers will be the same, the SoloQ experience will be the same (because you can't change people), loved to play ranked because it challenged me and improved my skills a lot, but for a while, it's a disaster and as the way I see no changes made to that. A little bit of tweaking for the gun meta would've been great 

I don't want to be a negative Nancy, but what I see is, we gonna get a new map which is great, but that's the only interesting part of it, and everything will be the same at a new location, which is not really motivating at all, people will be entertained for a couple of months then back to the drawing board

    @Renegade_Prime86 I felt this way when season 5 started, took a break at early season 5, skipped the whole season 6, and now I'm excited to play again for season 7.

    Take a break if you have to, if you ever loved Apex, you'll feel that again.

    I'm really stoked. I was hoping to really ramp up my KDR in Season 6 but the shield changes put paid to that. I actually came out of that slugfest with a lower KDR than Season 5. I've since been grinding and have gotten it up by .13 and my AD by 60. Since crossplay though my KDR is finally over 1 (In my first month of playing Apex (S4) it was 0.08 - I kid you not, hadn't played FPS for nearly eight years and I am in my 50s) plus I've broken my AD record four times in the last week so I'm excited to see how high I can get my S7 KDR and Av Damage.

    My only fear is the new map as my brain takes so long to asborb new info.

    Plus I am scared they're going to put my beloved TT as a care package item.

    @DaleWWilson95 This never makes any sense. Devs have specific areas to work on. Why visual artists stop designing skins and environment assets until sound devs fix the engine's issues, for example? Sometimes issues aren't even on their hands. As another example, it would be dumb for the studio to stop creation until Google decides to upgrade their cloud servers or add new data centers.

    The new map alone is big enough deal to stay with it. With it being live in few days not long to wait at all.

    Look forward to a more urban environment in the map rotation. Tight angles, limited long sight lines, more entry points of buildings. But not too small otherwise its just a deathmatch.

    What usually happens is that the new map will be cycle more for first couple of weeks before equal rotation.

    After my rank 500 or good KDR I don't really feel this XP counter means anything per match. I am in it to try the combat plays in different environment.

    @Renegade_Prime86 I can see being pessimistic. Our last two new legends have been poor. But I am quite pumped about the new map.

    Just remember week one will be brutal on the servers!

    @Renegade_Prime86 I quit after season 3...you know because netcode is still trash and they don't do meaning quality of life updates. Out of all popular modern games this game performs the worst. Still got buddies who torture themselves playing this garbage.

    Things that matter in gaming is performance...not the cosmetics and fluff. Heck the balance of the legends and guns don't even matter when your game performs like a donkey. Actually Donkey's are useful that is in insult to donkey's. I will stick to the rubbish theme.
