And people think pubs don't need a leaver penalty.

@GH0STEDbyME Any type of penalty is welcomed, not necessary time related, but I've already said this hundred of times. As it stands pubs are mostly trash now.

@BaldWraithSimp I probably leave a lot more than 5% of my games, but only if I see that the guys still alive don't stand a chance in recovering my banner. Of course i also do quit sometimes for no reason but i'll gladly accept the penalty if it means reducing the toxicity and selfishness in the game.

Uh no.  People that leave constantly are annoying and yes it can suck at times.  However, leaver penalty in pubs?  Yea no.  That would be a terrible idea because everyone leaves in pubs.  We’ve all done it for one reason or another.  It happens.  It sucks when it does but it’s something we’ve all done.  

The solo que experience is dead in this game anyway and the only people to blame are respawn and company.  If you don’t want to deal with the chance of getting a “leaver” play with a group.  If not,  it’s something that you have to deal with.  People quitting is an issue but there are way other issues destroying the solo que experience that Respawn refuses to address.

I liked the system when I played Arena of Valor. Every had 100 'honour points' and at the end of the game you could down-vote someone if they did something trash. If someone downvoted you you lost a hp and if more than one then you lost five points (I think ... it's been a while).

If you dropped below 90 it was a short ban, 80 longer ban and so on. After your ban you regained 1 hp per minute not actually playing, so if you started again on 91 and lost five points you'd be down to 86.

Of course, you got downvoted for all kinds of stuff, such as playing badly or not fighting with the squad and so on, but it seemed to work okay,

@DarthValtrex If you get toxic teammates just mute them and repay them with the same toxicity. If i have a teammate that insults me or does everything to not help me, i'll do the same if i get the chance later in the game. For example i'll not revive him if he gets knocked. But still, that situation doesn't happen that much compared to those where people leaves immediately for no reason. I'll always try to take the best from every game, if it means kills or damage even in the worst situations.

But if you still prefer to leave, i think you'd not be that upset if you didn't gain any xp or challenges progress from that game. Just an example for a light penalty in pubs.

That's the essence of casual games. Drop, kill, die, repeat. No time wasted. If you want sweaty games, play ranked. As it is now, there's a mode for everything. There's no reason to ruin casual games by adding leaver penalty.
