Another 10 games, another 10 cheaters

This is the 4th post I have done where I encounter cheaters in back to back games 10 times, report all of them but NOTHING HAPPENS, and the EA people on these forums all they say is "report them" as if that actually did anything, it does not, fix your game please, how is it that in 2022 we still have this problem with games, I am a network engineer and developer, anti cheat for an FPS is NOT HARD, I am starting to think they leave the cheaters in game on purpose, what purpose? Who knows, maybe respawn is the one selling the cheats? Side money...

Frankly it is getting harder and harder to play Apex, first the terrible new ranking system that punishes solo players and the lack of protection vs cheaters.

Terrible company, terrible product.

    in a way I feel sorry for your son and in a way I do not. I take it he has learned his lesson? I hope so. 

    Also this proves that even cheaters do get bans.

    There are more than enough cheaters out there and there always will be. It is an uphill battle but EA is not giving up the fight and neither should we.

    haha, well that makes one of us. He's 20 and knows better and I didn't raise him to look for ways to cheat his competition in life at whatever that may be. I told him I wouldn't play with him anymore if he didn't stop using them. So far he's been playing clean. Plus he's heard me raging out on the couch when I encounter a blatant cheater and rant on about it for hours. So hopefully that has some sort of positive outcome on him lol. 

    But yes, I was always a little bit sceptic on whether or not anything was being done, not knowing for sure....other than the bans for inappropriate use of language, etc. 

    So I was quite relieved and happy when I heard he got banned. : ) That'll teach him  🙌

    Reviving this post because it happened again, reported all 10 but nothing will happen and that is a fact, I would believe them if I got an email saying the player was banned but nope, also have extra VPN network with a secondary gaming PC with cheats, nothing happens to those players, proven...

    @dioangel They do give feedback if someone you reported got banned
    Granted though they don't specifically tell you who it was
    I've also reported a handful of cheaters to Hideouts and got some of them banned too
    Cheaters have been an issue for FPS games but they are trying to deal with it
