Answer it

So S7 is nearly upon us. A new map should be coming right away if you ask me and probs the lot of you too. BUT we’re well informed and acquainted with Respawn and that they have some weird release dates for stuff and bamboozling ppl has been well established...

Lots of people claim to quit forever (Lolz you never do) or take a temporary break. That said, morale seems especially low and if this was a pirateship a mutiny wouldn’t be that unimaginable if the course would sail like it does now. So answer these 4 well-put together questions:

1. What will you do if there’s no new map at the start of Season 7 with no info regarding an upcoming map coming?

2. What will you do if there’s no new map at the start of Season 7, but it is communicated that there will be one at the Ranked Split (so halfway S7)?

3. Same as question 2, but to keep ppl playing they added new areas in both WE and KC and will do frequent LTMs. Old ones only.

4. What will you do if there’s no new map at the start of Season 7, but they state that there will be one for Season 8 (they don’t state when tho. Only that it’ll be at S8).

I find question 3 & 4 basically the same and now I wouldn’t care if a couple new areas come, but I know that alot of ppl like new areas and can play for couple weeks on them so I opted for both variants.

In my case:

1. Quit playing until further notice, maybe play with Horizon for a bit

2. Quit playing until ranked split probably... or might play just to get to know Horizon, but that’ll be max for a week

3. See what the new areas are, play Horizon a bit and only play LTMs if I like ‘em.

4. Hahaha laugh my arse off probably. Horizon. Done :P

@DaleWWilson95 Lolz there had to be a new map for this season as well... but nope xD no dice.

@MandatoryIDtag, can’t see you complaining xD. you’re too cheerful.

This thread can serve as a wake up call/reality check for the devs. If they see a variety of ppl stating what they’ll do, they might make sure to include a new map come hell or high water. Ain’t that right @EA_David 😜

@Koochi-Q I'll likely complain a bit too. But more than anything I'd like some of the major long term issues fixed. Things like the audio.

If the audio is near perfect, I could settle for not having a new map one more season. But that will really be pushing things with the player population. So many people want a new map.

@Koochi-Q Let's see

1. Will continue playing about the same, I have a lot of areas where I could improve, many badges to acquire, higher ranks to get to. Also, there's probably a PC upgrade coming soon, so playing at more than 100-120hz and ideally going back up to 3440x1440 will provide a new experience altogether.

2, 3, 4. See answer #1.

I approach this game as if it was a sport. For example in basketball, I care very little about the venue , what brand / color is my equipment, what materials do they use for the court, etc.. All I want is to get faster, increase stats, learn tricks, speed up decision making and improve tactical skills.

@Koochi-Q If they did make a new map I would hate to see it being the only map, if its in rotation that would be cool the thought of a single map all season would be worse than what we have now imo.

@Koochi-Q On the questions none of them bother me, it won't be a map that makes me stop playing it will be the matches within them.

@Koochi-Q LoL. U think I would never quit? I thought I will grind out the quest at least, but I didn't. Few days after the season 6 dropped I stopped playing. Came back for the collection event I thought I will grind out the free cosmetics... but I only played 2 games hehe.
A new map wouldn't be enough to bring me back. May be if they also drop a new legend I like as much as Wraith before they changed her tactical and with that her play style? And then it is still a big may be....

What I like playing with you is that you pull the skill level of our adversaries up, so I get more challenges to grind. Never had an evening more varied and rewarding as yesterday.

@EryxApex thanks. I hope to have more games like that crazy one (that Bangalore chase had to be the longest chase ever, haha).

Actually, yesterday I learned how to efficiently sacrifice Caustic, which helped us get the first win. Went in that building in Capacitor knowing there is a full team inside, threw some gas cans that poisoned them pretty well as they downed me, then blocked the door, forcing them to thirst me and then to break the door and get over my deathbox while outside of the final & stingy Flashpoint ring. If I remember correctly, only two of those enemies got out and they were like one shot each by the time they made it.
