I have an arctis 5 headset but I learned today Sony unlocks an EQ where you can adjust and save settings if you have the Sony headset. It seems shady as heck to force people to buy your product.

- @hayhor Of course but I mean Apple does the same thing with iMessage to keep people in their ecosystem or force others to switch lol.
You might try posting the question on a Sony forum or maybe check YouTube for reviews.I've found reddit search function pretty useful for questions like this. Give it a try! You most likely won't find anything Apex specific, but you should find some discussion of the headset functions.

Anyway I ended up buying one and using the PS eq is helpful, especially for removing the overwhelming bass.
