- @Lord_Scorpion34 As far as I know the skullpiercer increases the headshot dmg by 2.5 times. To compensate for the removal, they increased the LB headshot multiplier to like 2.1 from 2.0 or something like that. Not as strong as strong as the hop up. I might have the numbers wrong though. Lol.
@Cheese9Man honestly speaking I find the current non SP system much better. Between the increased body shot damage and the raised multiplier on headshots, you do more damage in general than you would with a pre buff longbow, and you're not reliant on RNG to tip that scale in the longbows favour.
The longbow is a solid DMR, but it just isn't as suitable for boxing players unless you catch them out in the open...probably why a lot of people have switched over to the sentinel. That doesn't detract from the fact the longbows still decent though. 🙂
P.s those numbers sound about right to me.
- @hayhor it makes sense when you put it like that. for a while people thought the rampage was overtuned at first, than it was forgotten about for a bit since the lstar happened to get buffed. Lstar nerfed happened, people flocked to the rampage, the cycle begins again.
This is part of the reason why rampart should either get a second passive or her current passive should get a rework. I kind of like this new approach that seems to have been adopted of removing hop-ups by adding some of their capabilities to the base weapon, like they've done with the wingman and longbow.
edit- I see I just pretty much said the same thing that @MandatoryIDtag said a lot better.
- @soccerking122 I think her passive should just apply to ANY full auto only weapon. So, the LMGs, RE45, R-99, CAR, and Havoc too.
- @soccerking122 I agree with the other guy. Just expand her passive to other guns.
- @hayhor @soccerking122 - It just makes sense to me. Rampart's whole thing is she loves full auto. If the gun is full auto only, she should get her buff. She's all about the dakka dakka boom.
It would also allow her passive to play more in early game where you are more likely to find only RE45, R-99s, and Havocs.
And with my even earlier suggestion, if they added select fire to the Rampage, her passive would NO LONGER apply there. 2 problems solved. @pandareno1999 my point was more weapon specific to be fair, but yeah I do agree its a much better concept, keeping the loot pool as clutter free as possible is a big win, plus our weapons receive healthy buffs in the process.
