Anyone else just finding the game is getting more and more stale

I still enjoy Apex after 11 seasons.

Agree that the latest legends (especially Newcastle) have been a bit meh. Except Echo because he's invincible and can even survice a Kraber bullet. The last new legend I was excited about was Fuse and even he was pants on release. It must be hard though to design and release a new legend that's not going to come in and ruin the meta.

I've tried every other BR shooter going and they all suck compare to Apex. After Apex playing anything else is like playing wearing lead-lined boots. I liked Paladins and Smite for a while, but I soon abandoned them as alternatives. Paladins is very definition of stale.

The new map is ****ing incredible. The sheer effort that goes into their creation is mind-blowing, even though I hate SP and refuse to play it.

    @EdwardDLuffy I've been playing since launch, and still am having fun with it in S15. More so when my buddies are on, but I still have fun solo-queueing as well.

    I like playing as pretty much any of the Legends, but I still main Pathy, so I'm not too terribly concerned with the other ones. The only Legend that is genuinely boring for me to play, would be Loba. Even with her though, I still have some fun matches from time to time. Her kit is just kinda boring to me.

    Definitely agree on the new map!! I've only played maybe 20 matches or so, but I'm really digging it! It might end up becoming my new favorite map, to be honest. Only time will tell

    I can't say I've tried all the other BR's, but I've dabbled in PUBG, Fortnite, Realm Royale and a tiny bit of Warzone when it first came out. I'll take Apex over any of them, any day of the week, Lmao! I refuse to even touch CoD these days. Got tired of that franchise years ago. I did try my first BR on Forza Horizon 5 last night, and that was pretty fun!

    I know I've apparently been on of the lucky ones. I haven't really dealt with many of the issues that I constantly see people complaining about. At the end of the day, I still have a blast! Would I like to see more LTM's, or at least a rotating LTM mode? Sure, of course! Improvements to ranked? Bring it on! I'm sure I'd be singing a different tune if I was dealing with issues constantly, but I've apparently been lucky. I've already been playing GTA Online for nearly 10 years, because it's still fun for me and my buddies. As long as Apex stays fun for us, I'll still be here. Also probably helps that we play multiple different games as a friend group, so nothing gets too repetitive or stale. None of us can tolerate playing the same game, every single day, and nothing else

      @dSKyNafinchin You mention something people need to understand-
      Too much of anything ruins it. Playing multiple games is healthy. Streamers who only play apex and only one mode will always complain. What sucks tho is people look up to them and then start the same complaints, even if those things do not really affect them. It is why I only watch people that are positive or that play different things. If you want to be negative you will be negative.

        I may have moved on, I’m not sure, it’s simply a matter of where I notice I spend my time.

        Ranked has been useless for a while now and that was the most interesting BR format for me. With no Respawn commitment to Control or Gun Run being permanent, I can’t be bothered to wait around.

        The new character is ok, the new map ok.  Neither, however, is enough to carry.  I’ve been playing Destiny  II, pvp and it’s better, again saying something because that is not their sole focus.

        Maybe it’s the Respawn people who’ve become boring and not the game?  Apex has become predictable in all the not good ways, particularly in what Respawn pays attention to and ignores when they change their game. It’s not super unpopular but I’ve seen the numbers and Respawn  taken a hit so I doubt I’m in some tiny minority here about impressions.

    The number of times I shot Echo with a Sentinel thinking it was a Cyrpto Drone...  and then was sad nothing happened and I gave away my position for nothing...

    Be really nice if Crypto got some of those Echo style upgrades...  at least the auto follow, please.

      I opened Apex this weekend, last time I had played Apex was Sept. 21st, new map is fun, it’s now easier to 3rd party on those really fast ziplines (rip Path).

      Catalyst, meh, overall experience, meh.

      300 Apex coins for stickers, laughable at best.

      Stale, very much so!

      @Kyldenar Next time that happens, ping it after. There are some pretty funny voicelines for pinging the bat.  Mirage's is great.
