Anyone else just finding the game is getting more and more stale

The last 3-4 seasons have been complete failures in my opinion - the new legends have been extremely bland and lack any personality compared to earlier legends - new map changes have been extremely...

@EdwardDLuffy I've been playing since launch, and still am having fun with it in S15. More so when my buddies are on, but I still have fun solo-queueing as well.

I like playing as pretty much any of the Legends, but I still main Pathy, so I'm not too terribly concerned with the other ones. The only Legend that is genuinely boring for me to play, would be Loba. Even with her though, I still have some fun matches from time to time. Her kit is just kinda boring to me.

Definitely agree on the new map!! I've only played maybe 20 matches or so, but I'm really digging it! It might end up becoming my new favorite map, to be honest. Only time will tell

I can't say I've tried all the other BR's, but I've dabbled in PUBG, Fortnite, Realm Royale and a tiny bit of Warzone when it first came out. I'll take Apex over any of them, any day of the week, Lmao! I refuse to even touch CoD these days. Got tired of that franchise years ago. I did try my first BR on Forza Horizon 5 last night, and that was pretty fun!

I know I've apparently been on of the lucky ones. I haven't really dealt with many of the issues that I constantly see people complaining about. At the end of the day, I still have a blast! Would I like to see more LTM's, or at least a rotating LTM mode? Sure, of course! Improvements to ranked? Bring it on! I'm sure I'd be singing a different tune if I was dealing with issues constantly, but I've apparently been lucky. I've already been playing GTA Online for nearly 10 years, because it's still fun for me and my buddies. As long as Apex stays fun for us, I'll still be here. Also probably helps that we play multiple different games as a friend group, so nothing gets too repetitive or stale. None of us can tolerate playing the same game, every single day, and nothing else

@dSKyNafinchin You mention something people need to understand-
Too much of anything ruins it. Playing multiple games is healthy. Streamers who only play apex and only one mode will always complain. What sucks tho is people look up to them and then start the same complaints, even if those things do not really affect them. It is why I only watch people that are positive or that play different things. If you want to be negative you will be negative.

    I may have moved on, I’m not sure, it’s simply a matter of where I notice I spend my time.

    Ranked has been useless for a while now and that was the most interesting BR format for me. With no Respawn commitment to Control or Gun Run being permanent, I can’t be bothered to wait around.

    The new character is ok, the new map ok.  Neither, however, is enough to carry.  I’ve been playing Destiny  II, pvp and it’s better, again saying something because that is not their sole focus.

    Maybe it’s the Respawn people who’ve become boring and not the game?  Apex has become predictable in all the not good ways, particularly in what Respawn pays attention to and ignores when they change their game. It’s not super unpopular but I’ve seen the numbers and Respawn  taken a hit so I doubt I’m in some tiny minority here about impressions.

      @KelRiever The new season didn’t give the much needed boost Apex needed twitch wise.

        This is my friends and I right now. We play about 1-2 hours, maybe win around 2 games, finish the dailies and then hop off to play other games. The map is great but I miss the passion and excitement we all had when new content drops. Respawn needs to mix things up. I honestly think artificially removing gun run and control is hurting the game. BR is still good but give us more choices. We only have another mode that’s rotting and filled with cheaters who want a cheap pred badge in arenas.

      @KelRiever I haven't played in over a week. I just get irritated after a few games, and I don't want to feel that way playing a game lol. I keep getting Harry and Larry as teammates, then die to 3 stacks.

        @swift07 Had a friend over this weekend. So, you know, did things IRL like cards and board-games, some range time (he's my hunting buddy so the pre-season practice and zero confirmations). Yeah, some drinking too.

        Today, he headed back home. I got some coffee, decided to play Apex, played my 2 matches and and got right back out for Destiny 2 that doesn't just berate my existence with matchmaking.
