Anyone run their console at 120FPS and play in PC lobbies?

I set my FPS to the highest setting possible (120FPS) and played in the PC lobbies with a forum member the other night for a few hours.

Here were my thoughts.. I was not struggling by any means. It lead to me wonder whether or not PC players have a point on the aim assist being to strong for console players. There were times in which I was thinking this is just too easy. Now it might have been a streak of good luck on my part. But it also might have been the aim assist. I definitely did not feel like I was at a disadvantage any point in the game, even in the mid-long range. But in CQC I was absolutely dominate unless I got snuck up on or double teamed.

I'd be curious to know if anyone else has had similar results or thoughts? If a console player can get high FPS (taking away a PC advantage) + aim assist it might lead to unfair environment for the PC players. But again my small sampling might have just been luck.

Just be respectful on the topic and make your points, I know there is quite a bit of passion on this topic already.

  • @Koochi-Qyes am aware that the tv and console should be 120 compatible This is what am talking about mate , 'true' frames , if the game is not outputting more than 60 FPS but his tv and console are working together (G-sync) to give him the 120 frames he asked for then he will get fake  frames to shoot at 🙂
