About six weeks ago (around one or two weeks after the launch of Apex Legends Season 25), the game started crashing on Steam when I tried to launch it.

Steam would first show “Launching” in the pop-up window, then “Waiting for game to start…”  

But after that, nothing happened—the game just crashed with no notification or error message. It simply goes back to the “Play” button on Steam, as if I hadn’t tried to start the game at all.

I waited for a while hoping it would resolve on its own. Thankfully, after a Windows 10 update, the game worked again... but only for one day. The next day, I launched the game, played a bit, experienced some lag, restarted—and the same crash issue came back. Since then, nothing works.

I've found no working solutions. The recent release of Season 26 didn’t fix anything either. So, I decided to try using the SSD from my upcoming PC setup, which has a lightweight Windows 11 OS (the old SSD was running Windows 10).

That new SSD worked for one evening—but the next day, the same issue returned. I’m really fed up with reinstalling the game six times, verifying game files over and over, all with no success…

I also find it impossible to reach Apex support via email, and the official support site is overly complicated. I couldn’t get in touch with a real technician.

Now that I’ve finally found this forum, I really hope someone can help me.
