Hey HqnnahBanana,
Which datacenter/server are you typically connected to when launching Apex? If you switch to a different datacenter on the initial loading screen, does that change anything?
If you can also let us know which platform(s) you're playing on and whether you're both playing from the same network/location, that may give us a bit more information to see what could be going on here. Thanks!

hello! yes we play on the data center us-east-1, we aren’t able to switch to a different data center because we have poor internet where we live so this data center is the only one that provides good ping, we both play on xbox, i play on a xbox series s and she plays on a xbox series x, and yes we play in the same household so we use same wifi, we have never had issues like this before this seasons update so not sure why we are now, thanks for the help.

Hey HqnnahBanana,
We've passed this along to be looked into, but unfortunately I don't have any updates to share.
I understand you don't want to change data centers due to ping, but please give it a try for a match (or bot royale) so we know whether you're just having this issue with a particular data center.

alright will try today when i’m home from work, i did uninstall my apex and reinstalled it, it helped a little bit, and i was able to play a few matches with my sister and then it started doing it again, there used to be more data servers we could play on but now it seems you guys combined them all into just a few

Thanks for the update HqnnahBanana, interesting that you were able to play for a bit before this started happening again.
The list definitely changed back in April when we upgraded to a new server provider that allowed us more flexibility and tools to address issues.

hello mako! back with an update, unfortunately switching to a different server did not fix any issues, we still were both crashing, by the way the error code we are receiving is code: leaf! thanks for the help
