Before this season's matchmaking update I would have agreed with you, even though at my level of play I was exposed to less cheating than you are. But still enough. Any amount honestly is too much.
But since the update I get very tightly matched lobbies which are far to the left on the curve, and cheaters just aren't going to be in that part of the spectrum for long, if at all. What I am still experiencing is an astronomical amount of smurfing, though as I'm something of the sort myself I have to criticize with a grain of salt. But I guess that's what the game has turned into now. The right side of the curve is cheaters and left side is people who don't cheat and are tired of being pitted against the cheaters. So they start a secondary and ride it up until it becomes unplayable. Then they just start over again, forever haunting lobbies they really don't belong in. I'm constantly getting level 4 teammates who solo hot drop, wipe two squads all on their own, and then die and instaquit. If that isn't a hard stuck high platinum player who's just given up then I don't know what is.
At any rate, they've stuck a new name on EAC and I guess we'll just have to wait to see if there's anything else new about it apart from the name. I'm optimistic but that optimism is tempered by experience. Which hasn't been very good up until now. Time will tell.
