Its hard to ask the Apex gaming community about all the good things they felt were present in 2023, considering.......
Loved the stats... I like how it was all the positive stuff. I would be curious to know other stats like....
- How many times players were kicked due to poor servers.
- How many reports were made for hacking/cheating.
- How many times a bronze player was pitted against a master/pred.
- How many times people died from no audio from the rear.
- How many purchases were made for recolored skins.
- How many times Respawn chose silence over engaging with the player base.
- How many pro streamers were caught cheating - then invited to ALGS afterwards.
- How many bans for toxicity vs cheating/hacking/smurfing.
To name just a few.
I find it odd to throw out your type of stats considering this entire year showed that Apex is in the worst state ever, in a decline and feels abandoned to the average player.
Like pointing out the great cafeteria food and well kept grooming of the football field at a high school right after a shooting has taken place.
This year for Apex Legends wasn't so bad, but I do believe it can be better in some ways.
In ranked, the highest ranked I've reached for the first time was Masters and I will never forget it. I do believe however, that Rank needs to be back the way it was before this whole "LP" came into play.
I think that Rank needs to be marked as "RP" but still applies to the Ladder Point system.
Not only you'll receive points depending on what place you're on, but there should be a set point system when it comes to eliminations, assist, knockdowns and participation. And as you're getting those points, the entry cost should go down as the game progresses instead of going down judging what place you're on in the game. But in this case if that were to happen, then the entry cost should be a bit more.
Gives a better chance for players to not lose points as often.
I also believe there should be more game modes, especially ones that players in this community enjoys the most.
