I think probably the best solution would be to have a lobby especially for players that are between lvl 1-50. They wouldn't be forced to use that lobby but it would give new players a place to practise using the weapons and such without coming face to face with a platinum player every 5mins.
Using this lobby would reduce XP gain by 25% and stats would not be counted, challenges would still work as normal.
Should hopefully take a lot of the new players out of the regular lobbies, while not restricting them.
- 6 years ago@DoYaSeeMe I think that is fine really, having played with a relatively new player for a while I found that he only really started picking it up properly around the 70 mark. So capping a beginner queue at 50 sounds fine to me.

Added a few more additions around the firing range & a few of the legends.
More suggestions welcome!!

You just can't go grab a gun and start firing at people you may get a knock but you probably be greeted with tons of rounds coming your way and fully armored enemies.
I'll be ok with a queue cap at 50, by then you should understand what to do and not to do. The basic's is essential and just like any game Apex legends is always evolving.
The last couple of night I'm being teamed with low level when not playing in my group / premade squad. Like really low level's 1 - 5, so there is a new influx of players coming in.

1. Ability to view team mates kit so weapons attachments, ammo count, heals count etc. 2 reasons - You can know the capabilities and limitations as a group before proposing an engagement and you can proactively drop attachments etc without them asking or vice versa you can request.
I may even decide to carry ammo type I don't need just to be a mule for a team mates' benefit to drop later if I have excess space to use and I will know when to drop some for him when I see he is running low.
Adds another element of team play sharing is caring attitude and tactical awareness to game.
As not everyone speaks same language. This would make communication about eachother's gear more effective.
Maybe ability to request a weapon you are searching for on ground as well. Already mentioned but so useful so reminding again.
It is all about adding more communication methods if there is no Mic or language barrier in order to relay intentions, awareness, possessions and acknowledgement.
2. Ability to ping your own level 1 gear to indicate that you are seeking higher level 2 gear etc. "I need an extended light magazine level 2 or more".
3. Remove ground drop/care package drop for level 2 and above for armour. Actively encourages players to participate in battles to upgrade knowing they have to for surviving final ring closures where most squads are higher geared up.4. Already mentioned but hope it can come soon. Outside of in game I wish I had an "optional" saved character preselection set, so I don't have to manually pick per match making session.
i.e.
1. Bloodhound
2. Lifeline
3. Wraith
So it will automatically pick in that order depending on which one(s) team mates have already taken.
Means I can sit back with my coffee and not have to pay attention to quickly watch other player choices and choose character until time to start landing.
