Apex legends- the slayer of controllers?

So I'm just curious if anyone else has had this issue since playing this game lol.

So generally speaking, I'll go through maybe 1 or 2 controllers in a currents gen consoles lifespan. I maintain my controllers well so its generally just natural wear and tear that kills them off

But God damn....4 ps4 controllers I've had since apex was released. My current one is about to die out on me too, getting forward drift on my left analog.

Its actually madness lol. XD

@babyaga239 A stepping stool? So not even a proper stool. I gotta give credit to your parents. They definately arent raising a 2000s wimp kid. 🤣

Yesterday I had my kids helping with yard work. They acted like I was torturing them. They didnt even have to use rakes. Literally using a leaf blower was horror. When I was their age all I had was a rake and I cut firewood, hauled it in the basement and stacked it. I'm raising wimps......
  • @hayhor you gotta raise me like my parents are raising me get them to enjoy being outside and actually know how to use a rake, also depending on how old they are take them hunting.

My only question is are you raising them around guns?

  • Just leave your chairs, stool, couches for a second and picture a near future Apex VR Experience, coming up with a treadmill included in the BP. That would be absolutely hilarious to watch. Imagine a player trying to do 7.3m/s, jumping like 3-4m up in the air and slide uphill with 11m/s 🙂. Although, I would rather worry about the early leavers' actual reasons...

@babyaga239They are city kids due to me moving for work. I have taught them a bit of shooting but theyll never know what it was like to live in the county with a gun in hand at 8 years old 🤣

    I take them fishing instead.

  • @hayhor I hear yah on that they wont know just how good it is being outside nothing but you whatever it is that you are shooting at and nature (and occasionally the police).

    Fishing is pretty nice.

  • @MandatoryIDtagquick tip, and thank me later
disassemble the controller then apply WD-40 to the analog that is drifting then apply some contact cleaner but not much as you don't want to remove all that WD residue, leave it face down to dry for a moment, and blow some air in the analog just to make sure it's completely dry, fix it back and enjoy

note: remove the battery before doing that
tested and certified .....by me of course 🙂
