Can yall please get rid of this stupid thing? It sucks when your team abandons you and I'm waiting for nothing.

The leaver penalty is the best feature of Season 3. Leave it. The only change they should make is if a teammate grabs your banner and doesn't respawn you within a minute or two, then you can leave without penalty. Two minutes out of your day isn't much. Stick with your team and you'll either win or lose. Simple.
I saw * the penalty í keep getting penalties when I leave right after my third squad mate dies as in no one Is alive and it says squad wiped on my screen I'm now at 40 minutes...
Sorry for sound stupid, I never leave so never get ban. What is the progression ? 5 -> 10 -> 20 ->40-> ...->90 ---> and beyond ??
@EA_Blueberry @EA_David I think we should introduce pinalty forgiveness by reducing the severity if players stick with team mates a lot of times (not leaving team mate) :
For example:
1. Bailout (1st time) : 5 min
2. Bailout (2nd time): 10 min
3. Stick with team mate (didn't bailout until the end) for 5 times:Pinalty reduce to 5 min.
4. Stick with team mate (didn't bailout until the end) for 5 times:Pinalty reduce to 0 min. This basically clear the pinalty.
5. Bailout (3rd time): 5 min only (instead of 20 min).
This pinalty progression and pinalty forgiveness is displayed on during rank.
Warning what will be pinalty if you bail out should be displayed as well "You will be pinalized for 40 minutes, are you sure you want to leave ? "
OK button is grey out for 5 seconds so players can cool down and think about it if they want to take that pinalty or stick.
The bigger the pinalty, the longer the timeout to think about it.
@asukojo I think yours sounds like a good idea.
I don't play the game, but my son does, he is 19 but has a learning disability which impacts his impulse control and so if he is not being supported in the game he will rage quit. I understand him receiving a penalty for abandoning teammates (to a certain extent), but he is amassing penalties that are days long now. His current one is over 5000hours! How is that even possible? It feels broken to me.
@SlivPTS Did you miss the part where I said he has a learning disability? Turns out no games are for him. He is unable to work, unable to read or paint to entertain himself and is unable to be outside by himself. That pretty much leaves him gaming and watching films. Turns out no games are made with people like him in mind. Forgive me if I don't cry a river for those squads whose game have been 'ruined'. You'll also have to forgive me for not caring a damn about your opinion given your callous and ableist attitude!

I have put up with people like you having disgusting attitudes towards my son his whole life, you are nothing special, I've had people tell me I should chain him up in the garden like a dog, so thanks for being offensive and ableist, but you can keep those opinions to yourself, and frankly it's only evidence that you are the broken one.
I posted on here in the hope that someone might be able to direct me to help him stop getting penalties or play the game in a way which they don't occur, but of course instead I will suffer abuse as though I personally lost the game for you. I wonder, are you one of those people who woud also call him names in the street having disdain for me for daring to allow him to be outside where good decent 'normal' people would have to be aware that he exists, or are you the kind that only thinks it's acceptable to be a horrible person from your keyboard?Don't bother replying, I really don't care. Maybe you should just have a little think to yourself, and then consider growing up and trying to become a decent human being.

or leave and go to a different game because this is the dumbest rule. on;y die hards will play and spend money. i've spent 1k on this game and i cant even play it....i'm through with apex for good. lazy and money greedy creators ruined it
Then its 100 min... and one guy got 700 min already.
These penalties are stupid. Ppl will stop play ranked games or even the game.
The penalty will not stop me in leaving the games. I will rather end playing apex then waste my time of watching these no brain people.
