Well, yesterday was fun.First game, all the guns were invisible, as was one of my TMs. The rendering was about level with Minecraft. The TM eventually appeared but looked as if created using Microsoft paint. The guns never appeared and I died, despite managing to knock someone with an invisible RE45.I rebooted and it took five minutes for the game to load. Then I went to the firing range and all the guns were still invisible. Eventually they appearred.Games two and three I got no selection screen. I just got the 'waiting for squads' screen without the countdown, and then it was straight to the jump. First game I got Fuse (pre-selected) but second game I got chuffing Wattson. "Dat is a grumpy face".The 'jumps' in the gameplay are getting worse. There's one brief pause at least per minute. It always seems to coincide with some of the new audio. The game also still freezes if a TM is typing a message (I am on XBox, PC crossplay disabled).Only happens in BR, never Arenas.My internet connection is fine (60 MBps), on London server, 0 packet loss.Anyone else with an XBox One suffering?

Replace it with the KFC chicken console.

@EdwardDLuffy We've seen some others having issues with stuttering on Xbox One that were relieved by installing the game on an external SSD. Is that possible or do you already have it installed on one?

Random thought, but perhaps your apex file is corrupted?
Could try a reinstall? I know it's not ideal since you're doing 60gb updates constantly but it can't hurt to try I guess?

@EdwardDLuffy sounds like a full reformat and install would do no harm either.
What's it like with cross play enabled?
What is the air circulation around the xbox like. It needs to get rid of a fair bit of heat.
Have you shut down and unplugged and if necessary remove the battery from your router completely for 5 minutes lately and then restarted it?

@OldTreeCreeper I have zero issues with any other game. All other online games run as smooth as silk. It's only Apex that gives me issues.

@EdwardDLuffy I'm fairly certain the textures and that are stored locally and not from the server. My guess is your file for your game is messed up as you've mentioned multiple times your updates are always the full game. It could also be your hard drive is starting to go bad.

@EdwardDLuffy I would like to highlight what you said about typing in game messages, My game runs without issues most of the time but I have noticed this consistently every season.

On Xbox ONE X here, and I do always have a noticeable stutter when typing messages in game. Or when teammates type messages.

To me it honestly seems your HDD is failing in your console. You could purchase an external SSD on Ebay like 256GB or something and should make all these issues go away.

@SILVERisSORRY Stutter from text also happens on Xbox Series X unfortunately. Typing my own text is much quicker than Xbox One, but when teammates use text chat it does cause a pause/stutter…is there a way to show text chat without text-to-speech audio, without completely disabling all voice chat? I feel like it’s the text-to-speech that causes the stutter

After a complete reinstall I am still having issues. You can see several video and audio stutters in my first game of the day (worth watching for funny accidental KC placement and my number one 'randoms' hate - just standing out in the open):
These are actually quite mild stutters though, some are horrendous, lasting over half a second. I was also getting double audio and audio triggering a least a couple of seconds after the event (such as firing a KC).
I don't buy the 'failing HDD' theory, sorry. I don't have any problems with any other game, and I've only been having these issues (major rendering, invisible guns) since the last 'mega' update. When i start an Apex gaming session I have to go to the Firing Range to make sure my guns are rendering.
Sidenote - I'm getting a 'Wating for Pre-cache' message when logging in. Never seen that before and I've been playing since S4.
