@BIamBoozIe That was the longest thing I've ever read by way of explaining that you believe that in all shooters shooting should be the critical success factor. Maybe you were absent the day they explained how battle royale works, so here's a refresher. Most kills does not win. Last kill wins. Your ability to shoot has value in Apex, but not nearly as much as it would in an arena shooter. Here you have to cultivate several other skill sets, most of which you would not even recognize or acknowledge as important if I bothered to list them. You would dismiss them all and say, "Well that sounds boring." And that is why, no matter how good a shot you get to be in this game, people like me, who can't hit anything, will continue to snipe from behind a rock and snatch the win away from you.
@reconzero Well, enjoy your 1 kill, 300 damage wins camping behind a rock. I'm the one who's moving around, strategically. I'm the one who's hunting. All eyes on me. In top 5 situations it's me who's looking to hunt. Not camping behind some rock like a scared kitten. If I'm not fighting, everything is dead quiet. That simply doesn't cut it for me. If I played the way you did, I'd fall asleep. This post wasn't so much about winning the match. It's about winning an individual fight, and how it's so random. It's not about strategy. When it comes to strategy and positioning, I'm the best at it. I'm never outplayed. But I still often lose to a clueless level 8 player. That's not the way it should be.
@BIamBoozIe If you're feeling you're the best why don't you compete in the ALGS? You could make a lot of money 😃.

- @BIamBoozIe I didn't read the I initial post but only your last comment. If you are dying to clueless level 8s you probably aren't as good as you think you are. For one you wouldn't be in their lobbies because sbmm wouldn't have you with them. And two if you play a BR properly you have a super high level of awareness so you don't get 3rded.

- @BIamBoozIe I have a pretty good understanding of it due to playing a lot of different ways and experimenting. If you are dying to level 8s they are either pred smurfs or you aren't as good as you believe or they got lucky 3rding you.
- @BIamBoozIe I will sir, I will enjoy sneaking about in this game with my sentinel sniper, waiting for the last 2 teams to nuke each other. I will enjoy getting my 4K win and using strategic advantages of the geographic terrain. I will get to know the basic 3 abilities of each of my legends and use them to better myself. It is impossible to better my legends, as they will never become more than cosmetics. I am so sorry you feel you need to be "in it to win it", maybe you need to take a break and breathe?

And yet, some player somewhere, apparently a level 8 player (though how you know that I'm not sure - is this a ranked thing?) is vaporizing you. So either your early statements are an exaggeration and there are in fact players in this game who are better than you, or you're saying that people cheat and that's what's frustrating you, or you're simply howling in the darkness about the fact that luck plays a role in this game. Personally, my money's on a combination of all three. But I'll let you tell me.- @reconzero Ok, maybe being the best in the game is an exaggeration, but don't get caught up on that. Point is that a bad player should never be able to kill a good player, given that you spot eachother at the same time and have the same health.
And you see what level your opponent is once they've killed you. In the Summary tab.
Do you honestly think that someone who's level 8 can be better than someone who's max level? Generally speaking, that is.
I'm not bothered with cheaters. That's beyond your control and it's nothing I can get mad about.
Luck plays a part... Sometimes, maybe. Luck is something that should be rare and not something that's part of every fight.
None of what you're saying is what I'm talking about.
Honestly, if all you do is camping behind a rock sniping at the last team, you'll never experience the things I'm going through. And the players I'm referring to aren't even people who play like you.- @BIamBoozIe Last explanation left is smurfs. Because otherwise no level eight is eating you alive.
