Apex RANK RESET/RECALIBRATION is so UNFAIR! And here I will explain why:
First of all, sorry for my poor English.
If you are a diamond player and the recalibration comes up, they will put u on silver-plat, SILVER PLAYERS (Which were diamond last season) will match with BRONZE PLAYERS, BRONZE PLAYERS ARE NEW PLAYERS (MOST OF THEM) AND THEY ARE MATCHING WITH DIAMONDS AND ALSO MASTERS AND PREDATOR. So, this game ranked system is so unbalanced that you can either match with real pro players or real noobs.
I was talking on Discord with some friends (One of them is diamond and the other is Silver), and we concluded that in low ranks you can match against Predators, Masters, and Diamonds. (You can notice that if you look around when you drop and you see their Season-long dive trail) Seriously? Is this even fair? What about new players? They are getting destroyed just because respawn doesn't learn from other games' rank systems, like Dota 2 where u can recalibrate once a year and it's optional, and also, on Dota's recalibration they place you in a rank according to your skills, they never reset your rank, you have to play 10 games on a not-defined rank medal and according to your skills, you will stay on your old rank or maybe get more MMR and be placed on a better rank.
Reset rank is not fair. You guys are just harvesting toxicity indirectly with your bad ideas. Ranks get too toxic starting from Plat because you can either match with the player that has been stuck for years on the same rank and with the other player trying so hard to go back to its high rank (diamond-predator)
Dota 2 is the game with the largest prize pool of all video game tournaments. Why? Because they have invested most of their money on ranked games. That's why Dota 2 is '''''RELATIVELY''''' more balanced than Apex on ranked leagues. Why don't you guys just learn from them? Humans have learned from other humans and that's how we progress. (Fortnite learned things from Apex legends) (This game exists because of TF2, Fortnite, and Overwatch influence) (Thanks to Newton, Einstein could make all of his research), etc.
Apex Developers should learn from other developers and stop with that selfish and arrogant thing of ''being original'' because that's not how life works.
You just cannot find positive things in this ranked system; I have reached diamond 3 times on this game and every time I've done it, it's a hard pain in the &*@#$ to go back to your old rank.
Please RESPAWN/EA, do something about it. I'm sure you will earn more profits by learning from other games' competitive systems. And yeah, Dota 2 is an old game, but you can learn from them as Fortnite learned from you guys, I mean they almost copied all your mechanics and that's not a bad thing.
