Apex's cheater problem

I agree for sure. The amount of people cheating is through the roof after D4. To me, the most annoying part is the difference between these moreons cheating on the enemy teams, vs what's supposed to be, getting somewhat 'similar skilled' teammates. Not only do I regularly encounter cheaters blatantly havocing from 200m away, perfect aim ofcourse, also my teammates are, how do I put it, we're not 'similarly skilled', not close, not even far, we're not even in the same plain of existence. I have terabytes of footage endgame, having 2.5k+ dmg, and my teammates' combined damage is under 500.. This happens in 9 out of 10 games. I often wonder how there's even a universe I get matched up with silver/gold players ratting their way to D4 to then, no offence to them though, become a waste of a playerslot in the lobbies I'm getting put in (remove placement points, aka participation trophies, for the love of god)

The only consolidation, the cheaters are actual losers in life, I can almost certainly guarantee that. Cheating only shows the coward that that person truly is, scared, unfit, insecure, and honestly, if EA/Respawn doesn't solve the cheating problem, well then let them have their cheaters. Uninstall apex, try something else (I know, no other game feels quite like Apex). I uninstalled already, in hopes to see in the future some actual hard improvement regarding cheating, but some people just are scum and one can only hope EA/Respawn decides to actual grow a pair as well and slam the hammer, no new chances on these cowards.

Totally agree on all points made (except detecting wallhacks).

I would sub-categorize cheaters into:

1. losers who cheat but still can't get out of D4 aka your Diamond4/3, Plat 1 lobbies.
   Super easy to see how and when they cheat aka your tracking enemies through walls, magical super timely 3rd party and scans, bursts of damage after playing like a bot for 1 min+ during fight and so on.
2. typical pool of old time cheaters aka your higher ranked D2+.
   Those are 50/50 cases most of the time and you just need to guess and apply some additional common sense e.g. if a player is totally weird with comms, game sense yet finds amazing ways to find enemies, flank them without saying anything etc.

But all in all only salvation for me is ability to 3stack (not that it is easy to find a good 3stack) to face these cheaters with a fighting chance while avoiding Apex matchmaking and getting bot teammates.

Already gave Apex a break during soloq test, unbearable time, despite easier RP progress, totally agree with encouragement to "vote with our time and activity in game" so that Respawn picks up their slack finally and do some major changes to a) matchmaking (easy to revert to state where Preds/Masters get their own lobbies vs playing vs Plats and even Golds) b) cheating (more frequent bans, system that works).

3 pub games to test FPS instability today:

1st game - dude neostrafed into me like crazy didn't miss a shot with car doing that and hipfiring

2nd game - 5 people including my teammates level <50 playing like demons

3rd game - current Masters level player clearly walling, aimbotting, hitting 100 damage skynades on everyone (recorded like 3 in a row while spectating him)

This game is unbearable -> turned off -> will go play some single player. Apex just pisses me off too much lately.
