April 7th patch notes discussion thread

No matter what changes you do for the good, there is always going to be a bunch of spoiled kids that will find something to complain about. They have a shine toy, that was better than the rest, you normalized and they start to crying.

Let me go one by one:
G7 Scout - this weapon is almost unusable. I don`t see the reason for nerfing him more. When you make it AR, make his ADS speed the same as other ones.

L-STAR - stupid and ugly weapon, just remove it from the game.

Kraber - don`t use it, so i don`t care. What i don`t like tho is one shot kill, whether its to the head or to the body, it doesn`t matter, for me one shoot mechanics is wrong across all FPS. Thats why i`m not a big fan of CS:GO and a FPS games with one shot weapons, it prioritize the aim over anything else and i`m definitely not a fan of it.

Sniper Ammo - not a sniper player, but this is definitely a good change.

Low Profile - top change, and let me said it, that it should have been done way earlier.

Revenant - i think you overbuffed both his tactical and ultimate. His tactical was perfect at the first place. 20 seconds its just ridiculous long. On mid to high to top to pro level of plays, 10 seconds are insane huge amount of time, 20 seconds its just broken.

Death Totem is very useful at the right hands, and sorry, but this change should be reversed to 1hp. Giving him 50 or whatever hp he have before its just too much. I want to play a game where my skills matter and they carry me, not the abilities of my legends. They should help you do that.

Death Totem right now is giving an entire team, not just 1 player, but 3, to come do a lot of damage, die, resurrect and come back with a full armor and 50 hp to fight you again, and this could be done in a no time. Either make Death Totem usable only by the Revenant or reverse the change and 1hp back from the dead.

Again no need for ability to take over the skills. Ability should be helpful in certain situation, but not be a totally game changer.

Lifeline - this change is a nice. Blind fanboys can cry as much as they want, but she has the third smallest hitbox and is in the perfect balance spot. Her ultimate still gave you a 90% purple armor, and this is still a thing. And actually there is a item called - ultimate acceleration and they are quite common, so you can have your ULT in a no time. Her tactical and passive are solid, so she in a perfect spot for her role.

Wraith - a good one as well.

Evo Armor - you make this item from kinda meh, why should i even try to risk it all, to a very great choice. Now when i have blue and a Evo armor i have a choice to make, and i like this so much. I think you hit the nail here. Evo is in the perfect spot right now. I just hope you don`t mess it up in the future patch, because of some cry babies.

Maps - at first i don`t like the rotation, and now i don`t mind, i actually like it. I was mad at first, but now i just don`t mind it. Tho i hate the Kings Canyon After Dark. It was a very bad map for me, good you take it out.

Let me comment a bit of the complains of the players and a bit of feedback as well:

Low-Profile first. Its just do 5% more damage, can you even math for god sake ? 5% of 200 damage for example is just a 10 damage, which is a complete nothing, compare to the way smallest hitbox of a Wraith, Path, Wattson and Lifeline for example.

Gibby is the 3x the size of this legends, and his movement speed animation is just so bad. I see a lot of complain for him, but this complains come from a Wraith and Pathfinder players, that just want to sh*** on some legends, so their OP legends get a pass.

Yeah, yeah Gibby is so OP, but why you don`t play him then ? Why, why ? Yeah, yeah he is OP, but you pick him, because his movement animation sucks and he is a like a f**** truck, and even the worst aimer can`t miss a shot on him. Not to mention that playing him is like playing a different slower game.

With him his ability is there to compensate for the s**** animation movement and his s***** hitbox. And yeah this game should always have a very solid tank, that someone who doesn`t get frustrated by his hitbox and animation will pick him.

I have never ever missed a PK shot on Gibby, but i have missed quite a lot of shots to Wraith, or do not fully hit that hitbox abusive character. This Naruto like character can even melee you when you PK at the beginning, because of her hitbox.

Nothing and i mean NOTHING can compensate for Wraith passive, tactical and ultimate ability, as well as her ultra small hitbox. Tactical that makes you completely invincible to any damage, including zone damage, also give you a great escape mechanism. The cool down time is  perfect. Its like a 1 time per fight only. You can reduce it with the lvl 4 helmet, so its something to aim for.

Her teleport is insanely useful in a any situation if you are a good player, and you can even use phase, when you are using it, which is a lot.

Her passive means you cannot be surprised in any time, which is insane.

So i don`t know for what exactly Wraith player is crying about ? A character that is a top 2 pick from the very beginning of the game and her playerbase should kiss Respawn feet for that.

Pathfinder and Wraith are still the top 2 character by far.

I think the game is constantly improving in terms of balance. And i prefer tuning down certain characters, then make ability dictated the pace of the game.

Overall feedback from 13 to 15 years old individual that are only care about their character being strong(understand OP and more than the rest) is not good/helpful for anygame.
So i`m pretty sure whatever changes Respawn made, there will be a cry babies on here on in reddit.

At the end of the day this is a free to play game, and the Devs are putting insane amount of efforts and the game is constantly going forward and improve.

A few things that complains are reasonable are the server lag, the cheaters(there is quite a lot) and i would said a few things that need to be fixed. A lot of time i`m fully covered behind a wall/rock(whatever) and i`m still receiving damage, when i`m 1000% covered. I`m playing Octane and Bangalore and quite often i get headshooted, even when i`m 1000% covered. I don`t know if this is a hitbox issue or something else, but when i`m crouched and with my look can see only the wall i shouldn`t get hitted.

Maybe something could be done to matchmaking as well. I don`t know if a completely random matchmaking is a good thing. But don`t know what exactly could be done on that to be fair.

Anyway keep on going with the good work. There is actually are unbiased people who appreciate what you are doing and a lot of people are happy with the changes, they just play the game and show the support that way, instead of constantly complain/praise.

@EA_DavidHi David i think that solo isnt a problem in this game, you think that there are legends Who has better abilities in modo solo, i dont think so, if hoy know when you have to use it you can win others players.

There arent legendes better than others, you only have to know when you have to use it.... And then you can win all legends.

I think crossplay and modo solo is more important to grow Up this incredible Game, i hope you will put It, and i expect that this modo Will be a very possitive match in the game, pls we need It to play more confortable, we are playing with other players that are trollers (there are so much) and when i dont have friends on i have to play with they....

Please add solo early and dont be carefull with the advantages of other Legends because there arent, you can win with all the Games, only, you have to know how to use it.
