@Pha1n0 damn , i was planning to play ranked again after i stopped because i don't feel that it's worth the effort and just to get away from the preds.so looks like there is no escape and i will have to get a better gaming chair to be able to stand a chance against these guys ☹️

@MandatoryIDtag On console the situation is solid i think, i mean still Diamond IV players are put together with Platinums, but generally speaking it's ok. But on PC it's terrible, i know it because a streamer that i watch when solo queues is always put with Plat IV or even Gold playets, even though he's Master. Oh and of course there are full predator teams in that lobby too. Pretty balanced right? lol

lmao i soloqued at d4 today and got bronzeV in my team.. he run around for a while not knowing what buttons to do and died shortly after in situation that i still dont know how he ended up in. kinda fun to be so close to highest rank in the game and play with a person who dont know what buttons to press to moveI think ELO is being teared up into small pieces. it is not like one thing is being seen greatly over another but rather many small things are ripping it in different directions.Three stacks keep * on soloque players who end up with plats to same lobbiescontroller players have different win conditions over MNK players that are unpredictableRanked is being pulled out of it's legs and arms to different directions pretty hard, but just not enough so it would rip apart and make apex to actually try and do something about it. It's not satisfying to be in this constant pressure of unknown variables.Many peoples say loot has RNG in it, but when you think about it, most RNG is in the fight you take. - does the person have mnk or controller? against witch playstyle should i prepare against?- is it three stack? should i just run as im not in one and leave my team to die- where is that 3rd party waiting???- everybody has red evo and i dont have extended mag, will i even be able to take a fight without premade team because odds of getting knock without mag is unlikely, and they probably have lifeline annyways?? - second zone is coming in 90 seconds and it burns my soul away, im in soloque. will i be able to close a fight 1vs3 before that happens? - if i take the fight will i get gatekeeped by second team at the edge of zone and being dead regardless of my decision on the previous 1vs3 because my two random teammates dont have enough firepower to push trough that in single engage?? No matter how much you think about these trough, it always ends up the same way. you get * on by something you are not able to prepare for. especially your teammates

@Pure_Funk_Nugget this was our experience. 2 gold / 1 plat - fought a lobby of diamonds / preds - nicewig was in our game.The games borked.

I wasn't saying it's right, all I'm saying playing on Ps4 I played In a plat lobby with tons of preds in season 4 I had a plat 1 player and a gold 3 teammate while I was plat 4 and experienced 5 teams as preds. It hasn't been changed up until now, I feel it won't ever be changed. Even though being a plat is hard enough with out having to worry about Preds. then again we will be playing against masters which is pretty much playing against Preds. Maybe this is the reasoning because Master didn't come in until around season 4. That is why its been left alone, the original programming of ranked was bronze, silver, gold, Platinum, Diamond, Predator. CM Edit: Updated title

@Pha1n0 there are not enough people for the lobby's predator, so they take from platinum and the gold of the lobby

@apostolateofDOOM Yeah I'm on PC. And it was a weekend night on Oregon servers prime time. So that could be a factor, compared to say early morning on a European server where I seem to have much better games.

I'm in the midwest and have a crazy schedule so if I happen to be on at 3am-8am my time I hit European servers. And even with a little increased no-reg I still do decent over there.

I am on the East coast and I have the same issue - usually play 8est to midnight.

either the player base has dwindled. People aren’t playing ranked or they just no longer care about sbmm and throw bronze silver and gold together and plat to pred togrther.

either way. It’s not a viable solution.

Diamond players is okei but *.. not preds and master, how do you want me to get to Diamond?
