what is a battle pass ?
You can purchase a "battle pass" from the shop.
This can usually consist of extra quests, items, skins on your level up, also faster leveling for XP boosters (examples taken from Fortnite and RoE)
It is currently unknown what items will be included in the Apex Legends Battle Pass and I can only speculate
