Bloodhound is imo useless, if you want to increase your chances of winning you could just play "meta" (Wraith-Lifeline-Pathfinder). Anything else would decrease your chances of winning. Sure you could swap the Pathfinder around, but thats about it (for a Bangalore or Wattson). Even Gibraltar is a better pick than BH atm (have a look at the global stats for BH, only worst legend is Caustic).

I prefer Octane, especially for solo queue. I'm definitely having the most success with him in ranked so far (and I've barely played him before, so I'm still learning).

So far, for me: octane > crypto > wraith > path > bangalore >> everything else.

I wouldn't say Bloodhound is useless, but I would definitely never pick him over Crypto. Crypto is just better at surveilance in every possible way. Bloodhound-bangalore is still a nice smoking combo though, if they actually work together. If there's no bangalore/caustic in team and few/none bangalore/caustic enemies, then there's little reason to play BH.

P.S. I wouldn't say caustic is that bad either, but my experience this season with caustics on my team have been so far: in solo queue ranked, caustic seems to always be the player who makes the absolutely nonsensical terrible decisions. So the bad stats may be more the fault of the caustic players and not just the legend.
