Bots added to fill squads in BR?

There is no other explanation.
No one, with a normal, functioning brain, that didn't mute the sound, that has a monitor (turned on), and a pair of eyes that aren't completely blind, can biblically dumb and mindless, as people are that solo queue.

Seriously, I'm fascinated and at the same time shocked.
I'm not here to offend anyone, but if you solo que, ranked or pubs, you get a pair of proper vegetables, basically every game.

Both always mute voice wat.

Never reply in text chat.

They don't wait or regroup, care about squad mates or give a damn about basically anything.
As soon as possible, they run off, all alone, straitght to the first 3-player squad they find, pull off a textbook kamikaze, and die.

But the thing that confuses me the most, is the spam-pings. for their squad mates to come and get their banner.

Really?

People are people, they tend to be different from you.
Everyone functions in their own way, has their own thought process and so on.
Not everyone is great at the game from the start either, it can take quite some time for players to get better. (Consider that not every player has experience with other FPS games)
You can group up beforehand if this is an issue for you, though just because someone isn't great doesn't make them a bot so to speak.

@XHelperZ I played this game for quite some time, and you know when someone is "fresh" or not.
These are not players that are lost in any way, they are very determined and seem confident.

My serious guess is that they are either very young kids or players that just gave up trying, just being mindless.

The second alternative I know for sure exists. But I wonder why they go ranked if they want to play like that. It makes no sense.

These players are so bad I'm impressed they got out of bronze with that kind of decision making. I guess that what happens when you can just duo with an actual good player that'll just make a new account cause for some reason the only wall they have to go through is leveling their account to level 10 before they can play rank.

@Pulvertomten Fortnite has bots, and they are VERY distinctive in their behavior, Lol!! I've never seen anything remotely close in Apex, and I've seen some..... randoms

My Apex buddy, who I often refer to, loves to keep detailed records of things. He's been coaching me, via screen share, in solo queue sessions this season. His own stats, he has broken down by category Some figures from both of our solo queue data:

Mine: KDR 2.2, my random team mates .39

Him: KDR 3.6, his random team mates .57

To keep this data clean, these numbers were adjusted to not count any games left before being boxed. Very interesting results! Both of our KDR's significantly lower when we queue together, which could be ( I believe it already is) the subject of another thread. While solo queue can be annoying and feel like it's unfair, clearly we both get much better results when we solo queue instead of as a pre-made.

I feel like actual Bots (like, a pair of the robots from the IMC armories) would be better than most teammates I used to get.
Heck, that could be a neat QOL update - if your teammates disconnect before being actually killed, they get replaced with a bot...
