Bring back 3 strikes

By all means, petition away if Three Tries is what you want. Personally I would have said that it brings out the worst in Apex. But to each their own.

Really? Why would you say that?

It allows you to fight the entire game, and have an amazing end game. Usually we only get one of those in ranked at best. 

For me that's nothing more than an attempt to turn Battle Royale into team deathmatch. This game already has too many crutches and do-overs for weak players hoping to have luck turn their game around. Three Strikes is that mechanism on steroids. When I take somebody out of the match, I want them out. GONE. When someone takes me out of the match, I'd rather not give them a chance to get a second kill out of me. Especially if I suspect they're a cheater, a Smurf, or both. And these days, they're often one or the other. Or both.

But again, this is just me. I'm all for the addition of the game type as long as it doesn't come in the form of a takeover where they're forcing me to play it, or forcing me to play in the rank dumpster to avoid it.

I don't personally play it and expect it to be anything more than a fun, worry-free game mode with my buddies. I just view it as the perfect practice mode. I like it because I can play with friends who are a lower rank.

I'm not always in the mood for ranked and for pubs, everyone just lands at the first POI and the games over. 

I agree that there need to be more game modes. I don't know why they can't add modes to mixtape aside from the 3 it currently has. It's clear that not everyone agrees about 3 strikes but there should be more options aside from Ranked, pubs, and mixtape (the LTM is usually very bad so I don't even count that - take for example the current one, not fun imo).

More game modes. Now that's something we can agree on.

No offence here but if you aren't getting good end games I don't think that's the games fault

How does that make sense? You know you can still steamroll a lobby and get a win and that's still not a good end game if there's 3 teams up round 4. Why are you assuming I'm the one being steamrolled here. 

3 strikes is just an easy way to get end games without being too stressed about the game, it allows you to sit back and relax AND get to enjoy the end game since it's so easy to get there. 

Maybe next time you should add something of substance or keep your mouth shut. 

Struck a nerve didn't I?? and by the way you pointing out that three strikes has more fun end games proves that you do jack **bleep** in normal matches so you are the one with no substance to what you are saying 

3 Strikes is maybe one of my least favorite modes, but this latest Seasons version was Awesome! Maybe it was the "random" character change after each death is what made my interest high. So Maybe 3 Strikes & after each death You get a character select. Or just keep changes to it's(3Strike) concept to stay fresh, sort of say

I think it's hard for them to determine what's a permanent mode because they're trying to draw players to the original game mode BR. I love quads & found myself not wanting to play anything else. 

But there does need to be look into more modes rotated frequently (which they kind of are doing, we are speaking on a 3 strikes mode that was well accepted, Now Arenas is back!) or have 2 modes that can be rotated & worked on for updates: making a New post more detailed of what I'm saying of the 4 Game modes
