@Sir_NamedIt's not so much a time travel rather than otherworldly travel, yes she can travel to a world where things have yet to happen and is "younger" than hers. But events are happening all at once once they happen she cant travel back to relive it unless it's another younger world. But it does raise your very good theory into question is she attached to that particular dimension. If there were a better one where she could prevent the events there that transpired in this one to rescue friends that aren't the same but still similar.
Also do we know she hasnt done it already? Each time she void jumps, does she return to ours or opt for the other and we get a new wraith each time?
Back to the dialogue, I think we can fully dismiss caustic as a traitor if there is indeed one.
Yoko did indeed get some info from octane which she may relay to hammond, unless she values Bangalores autograph more than anything her job can offer. It is a collector's item after perhaps even the only one of kind.
The source code- obviously revenant head, so hammond is using the legends to kill two birds with one stone. They get this artifact delivered to them, and in exchange they get her the revenant source code for loba to destroy. Which will take care of theyr assassin problem and if it goes wrong revenant will be more focused on loba who tried to destroy him rather than immediately going after hammond.
As per how hammond knows about the artifact when we left king's canyon I think they used the void research to send an exploratory mission to retrieve it after learning of it. If you remember in the first hunt there was an attempt to get the artifact before we got there. So they brought us back to get it after the other dimension proved too dangerous. In addition only certain points may be accessible in other worlds (sihng labs A, sihng labs B, artillery A, artillery B ect.) Which is why wraith was needed. Hammond could only access the labs with the void technology there.
And finally revenant now knows now we must wait to see whether or not he wants that power for himself, leading to an unparalleled (or rather paralleled get it?) Fight between the two simulacrum. Or if their is some simbilance of a conscience left inside him and reject the power.
Also I loved the lore given this week I didnt wanna stop reading.
