that's actually nuts... IF that's the case, why take it out on us!? lol they probably think us OG Revenant fans are incels or something. nah; in a world full of bright colors, some of us prefer to wear black.

hopefully they'll reconsider and reinstate Revenant's skills. 

i know someone from EA saw my piece because they took my independent post and somehow made it a response to this "BUFF REV" discussion. 

Rev was a fragger, Now hes a movement tank, Literally not a single legend in the whole history of apex has been changed this drastically beyond recognition. Lifeline received a ton of changes but her identity and her role as a combat medic held up still. Octane received a lot of changes too but all his original abilities still exist at an improved rate too. Literally every other legend in the whole game kept their identity except rev, The only one who I feel sorry for next to rev was fuse. His ring of fire was one of the coolest concepts in gaming but they had to replace it with generic explosives that deal 35 points of dmg, But hey at least he kept his tac as it is unlike the poor guy, Am I missing something here?

You reminded me of something when you theorized that it might have something to do with the character lead developer being out of ea, I remember that one guy who caused a lot of hate towards the game because of his opinions and the way he looks at the game (he refused buffing wattson back then because he believed that she had very good competitive capabilities already at that time). When asked about removing the totem, He said that we REALLY dont want to remove a fun team based ability like the totem. Basically they kicked him out because someone found really old posts from him speaking against women (or something among those lines). And the next thing that happened after they kicked him out was revenant reborn...hmmmm

I partially agree. hear me out:  

his current ult needs to be gone and replaced with his original totem. 100%. his silence was already capable of silencing Anyone who touched it. Ranging from 1 player to whole squad and third parties. it being a discreet ball rather than a Crypto EMP blanket made it Revenant's. (if they bring it back, throw his silence with a frag, therm, arc. you'll see what i mean; it works wonders lol.)

the jump is great, when it works, i will not disagree, but it should Not be his tactical. have you played Ash? when you play Ash, you can do a dash (at any time once it cools down) by pressing your designated Jump button ("jump" + "jump" or "jump" + "hold jump"). it's not her tact, and it's not her ult either. i feel Revenant can benefit with something like that. 

his jump is amazing, i've done some sweet plays with it. His ult is hot garbage though, i barely even use it...they should turn his silence into his ult but make it bigger so it hits a whole team or something, or bring back totem

1. you brought up more amazing points that i agree with. Silencing Gibby (+ Mirage, Wraith, Bang) brought them to a workable playing field. i say "workable" because we still have to consider how skilled the other player is. might still have to give it a little extra effort if they're sweaty. for Revenant they definitely should grant him some favors to compensate for his hit box. i Dreaded coming up against Wraiths, and now Axle too! my goodness. Lord have mercy if the have an R-99 or RE-45. 
2. i appreciate that. thank you. that game play was when i used to feel somewhat confident to push and try things out... now i feel like an old geezer trying to ball with the younger generations. LOL i used to have fun but now i'm Nervous to play! 
3. They're "getting away" with it because everyone likes everyone, except Revenant. Path, Octane, Mirage are those happy, lovable Legends. Wraith brings alcohol to the Apex Games: "Enemy spotted. I'm Taking Shots!" (LOL jk jk) so what's not to love about those guys? i'm starting to think the lead creator for Revenant might no longer work there [at Respawn] and a colleague who never liked Revenant (or the co-worker themselves) was able to gain access and sabotage Revenant's character out of spite. all speculation, but could be possible. Because how does a Great Legend, who only needed some tweaks, end up like this? the Recipe was already good, it just needed a few tweaks.

I still dont understand how they got away with it? Imagine if they did the same treatment for pathfinder and replaced his grabble with something else. People would literally go out and protest in front of the **bleep** HQ lol

Something that brings me down even more when I think about is, His current abilities feel so generic and add nothing new to the game when compared to his old ones at the very least. His tac is literally a toned down octane ult. And gibby has the forged shadow active the whole time (gun shield + fortified). And on top of all that he literally has the tallest hitbox next to pathy a long with a massive torso. I dont think movement fits him at all. He is supposed to have some real good attacking capabilities to make up for his giant hitbox. Instead we got a very mediocre abilities that makes it feel like you wanna lose on purpose each time you pick him up.
