I have to say this one more time Bring rev to his original state of the game or just buff him. His jump is terrible his ultimate is nothing, it's simply useless in the game nowadays, what's the poin...

Hello Respawn Developers,

i hope you're doing well, and hopefully stumble upon Revenant's original kit file and decide to re-upload it into the game for us Revenant enthusiasts to enjoy.

IT COULD MAKE A GREAT LORE EPISODE! REMEMBER THOSE?! I LIKED THOSE!

i recently came upon my Very First Solo Win with Revenant (video attached below - only a 1.44min short vid), and my goodness, i miss this Revenant.

As you know, a lot of Apex players have different play styles. Some love to rush into fights, some love a strong camp and defense, some love a good recon... and some, like myself, love to strategize before a push (as you'll see in my game play). Revenant's Original kit resonated with that play style. i really bought into his Season 4 trailer, and never imagined you'd take that away from us.

one thing that Really caught me off guard was also how LOUD Revenant's footsteps are. THMP THMP THMP. i always wondered how players knew i was around.

The only thing i like about his current kit is his shadow jump... when it works. because if someone has the drop on me, turning around to fight could get me knocked if they beamed me pretty good, and waiting for my jump to charge could also get me knocked, so now i'm kind of a burden on my team for picking the only Legend i like (i don't play Loba, but WOW she's beautiful... can i say that?). it's often a choice now: Fight (try) or hold R2 for Flight (hopefully).

i do not use his ultimate at all... maybe once in a while to feel like i'm playing the game, but most of the time i operate as if it's not there because it's not a good ult... using it feels like i took off my armor with how fast i get beamed when i activate it.

i have endured a barrage of insults for adopting a new play style that fits Revenant's current kit, and i've also lost a lot of confidence in my abilities to perform in this game, and it bums me out. i start thinking the rude things people say about me over the mic are true. i feel incompetent and sad.

i'm not a victim; i know i can always cut the mic audio off... but even without mics, i feel ashamed for under performing. i'm tired of always running because: "if i don't move now i'll get knocked again", "why am i still so slow??", "no! i used the jump already, i'm a sitting duck! i can't escape!". i get beamed so often it feels like everyone knows "Revenant is an easy down".

please let Revenant be Fun again.

please bring back his original kit.

but with that being said, thanks for making an overall cool game.

Something that brings me down even more when I think about is, His current abilities feel so generic and add nothing new to the game when compared to his old ones at the very least. His tac is literally a toned down octane ult. And gibby has the forged shadow active the whole time (gun shield + fortified). And on top of all that he literally has the tallest hitbox next to pathy a long with a massive torso. I dont think movement fits him at all. He is supposed to have some real good attacking capabilities to make up for his giant hitbox. Instead we got a very mediocre abilities that makes it feel like you wanna lose on purpose each time you pick him up.

you brought up more amazing points that i agree with. Silencing Gibby (+ Mirage, Wraith, Bang) brought them to a workable playing field. i say "workable" because we still have to consider how skilled the other player is. might still have to give it a little extra effort if they're sweaty. for Revenant they definitely should grant him some favors to compensate for his hit box. i Dreaded coming up against Wraiths, and now Axle too! my goodness. Lord have mercy if the have an R-99 or RE-45.
i appreciate that. thank you. that game play was when i used to feel somewhat confident to push and try things out... now i feel like an old geezer trying to ball with the younger generations. LOL i used to have fun but now i'm Nervous to play!
They're "getting away" with it because everyone likes everyone, except Revenant. Path, Octane, Mirage are those happy, lovable Legends. Wraith brings alcohol to the Apex Games: "Enemy spotted. I'm Taking Shots!" (LOL jk jk) so what's not to love about those guys? i'm starting to think the lead creator for Revenant might no longer work there [at Respawn] and a colleague who never liked Revenant (or the co-worker themselves) was able to gain access and sabotage Revenant's character out of spite. all speculation, but could be possible. Because how does a Great Legend, who only needed some tweaks, end up like this? the Recipe was already good, it just needed a few tweaks.
