By the way

Has anyone noticed that BR queues have noticeably increased? It takes noticeably longer to get in a match, than before Arena was release. Especially noticeable at non peak hours.

Given that matchmaking is prioritizing speed, does longer queue times mean that the player base is so small that adding another mode would impact the game that much?

@Vdstrk I think like you've said it all depends on what time of the day you play.

I play on PS4 and to be honest throughout the day, I have a fairly long queue time for Ranked but as soon as it gets to past 5pm it's back to normal.
I haven't noticed a delay in queue times for pubs and I wouldn't be able to comment on arenas because I don't play that mode solo.

I think a lot of people get annoyed with this game due to the bugs becoming too much for them. Also the SBMM (so called) is irritating at times.

The game is still averaging over 100million players across all platforms each day too.

playstation? xbox? I play on pc. Geo-location maybe? I'm in the US.
sure there is cross play.... but I have noticed a change in queue times, they have become quite longer, In ranked it's minutes, in pubs can be one or 2 minutes at times.
Not sure about the player base, but queues have become noticeably longer for me.

@Vdstrk I play on new york servers and I never have long queues at any point in the day I am on pc. The only thing that is slow queue is ranked. Even then its only 25/30 second wait time depending on rank.

Strange. Between 5 am and 10 am in my zone is practically dead. Central.
Then slowly it picks up. And it is ok for a bit. But spotty, sometimes is 5 seconds, and others is up to a minute or more for pubs.
It used to be 5 seconds at most, before season 9 was released.

@rockyboy1998 Not even 1 mil playing currently and i 'm not sure how accurate that information even is... 100mil accs created since launch.

Apparently there's just over 10 mil max players per day which begs the question why matchmaking and que times are horrendous when nearly 50% play ranked each season, according to EA.

I believe those numbers are incorrect.
But, assuming those numbers are accurate, it clearly shows that matchmaking has issues.
