Can’t get crossplay to work

I have Apex installed on an Xbox and PC with the intention of playing with my son but also so that I could play on my PC with other friends on their Xbox.

When I’m on my PC and search for friends using ‘Find Friends’ they do not come back as a search result. My friends can locate me but their friend requests don’t show up on my screen to accept.

Anyone experience similar?

  • Hey @ChickenShizzle

Are both the Xbox and PC accounts connected with the same EA Account? If so, that would be why it won't let you add them for cross-play. It's not possible to invite an account that's connected with the same EA Account.

    Hi all,

If you're having trouble inviting an account that isn't connected with the same EA Account can you double-check to make sure the account name you're searching is correct? I've seen some cases where someone is missing a space or underscore in the account name, but it has to be searched exactly as the account name was entered when it was created.

  • @hayhor Nope, nope, not me!

@EA_Kent, you can also do a generic search. So lets say someone is called HyperCheek76 on his EA account and you just typ HyperCheek, it’ll search multiples with that name even if numbers or other symbols are affixed xD.

I still think it’s bugged on Xbox cause so far I’ve mostly seen Xbox players trying to inv but doesn’t work or cant acc invites.
