Can they do something about the landing on and punching?

It's probably one of the most annoying game functions right now. Hey I have 3 people on me punching and I can't even grab a gun from the bin or the armor.. Despite the fact that I landed before them....

I think good solution is to give everyone Level 1 knockdown shields.It would encourage more players to actually not down quit, stick around and give team mates a chance to revive.

It feels like 5-6 squads are gone in first 60 secs and rest of the game map feels so barren of action thereafter.
