It's doesn't make my post invalid, because as it sit's now that is what the ring damage is.

Wasn't the ring damage ONLY buffed for ranked though? So why would he complain about ring damage if it WASN'T ranked? Pretty sure the casual matches still have the old ring damage formula. At least that's what the patch notes said.
The ring Damage was buffed for both modes according to the patch notes.
Ring 1 does the normal damage, Ring 2 does a bit more damage, Ring 3 takes a good chunk out of your health at a time [ Ring 4 and 5are a death sentence]. if your 400m+ out your not going to make it in ring 4 or 5, and your at the spectating screen of a teammate who did or the stat screen for the game.
Patch notes: Season 2 with ring increase
With Season 2, we’re trying out new circle closing speed, size, and damage that applies to both Ranked Leagues and the normal Apex Queue.
- Ring damage is now as follows:
- Round 1: 2% damage taken per tick.
- Round 2: 5% damage taken per tick.
- Round 3: 10% damage taken per tick.
- Round 4: 20% damage taken per tick.
- Round 5: 20% damage taken per tick.
- Round 6 and beyond: 25% damage taken per tick.
Looks Like They're testing it out.
I actuall like it there is no getting shot in the back during ring 3, 4 and 5. Also don't need to worry about ring campers during the later rings. there was too much ring camping in the later rounds. there is still ring camping in rounds 1 and 2, I feel that the damage could be a hair more higher. people still ring camping at the begining nothing really changed.
I don't get the backlash / complaining because you still can ring camp at the beginning maybe because that is the only way they can get kills ?%
I still say keep the ring damage of Season 2 going forward.
If respawn wants / can they can make small modifications to ring 1 and ring 4. Add more Damage to ring 1 [ from 2% to 3 %] and slightly reduce the damage in ring 4 [from 20%- 18%].
I like season 2 ring damage compared to season 1.
