Can we please see a couple of aim assist changes.

So over on console we're forced to use aim assist....thats great and all, apart from when it isn't. 1) Can we remove the function where aiming at a players lower leg region snaps your crosshairs ont...

@MandatoryIDtag this will likely not be changed since this is how AA works. As soon as a target crosses the crosshair, slowly, your AA has to focus. Unless you do what CoD does and implement multiple AAs.

@Koochi-QI thought AA only slows down the reticle, not snap onto a target. That sounds messed up.

  @BaldWraithSimp This is a good video on what aim assist does. Controllers really need some assist when you consider you only have a millimeter of movement to work with in the stick.

  @BaldWraithSimp It does slow down, it doesn’t snap, unless you know how AA works. If you do it can look like it snaps on ppl. Just like a pc player who’s good with aim.

  @MandatoryIDtag Or go the CoD route with multiple AAs. But you can’t tweak ‘how’ AA targets. It has an approximation-2-target code most likely. But yea it’s annoying sometimes

  @BaldWraithSimp while dropping from the ship it snaps to the target if they fly across your way, for some reason, it's very strong during the drop.

@Koochi-Q At the very least it should be optional then.
I'd rather die because I screwed up than because the game decided I needed to aim elsewhere. So annoying. D:

  @MandatoryIDtag Any chance you saved the video? I always read about the snapping but never really see it or notice it, tho I'm not that good in the chaos.

    @hayhor Nope, take a friend to firing range and you can simulate it yourself though.
    ADS at the knee region has a tendency to snap aim to the targets mid torso.
    So in my scenario where my enemy is dancing around playing dodge the bullet unsuccessfully, he manages to jump to a spot where his team mate is crawling, we're fighting on a hill so naturally the aim assist see's my previous victim right in my line sight and snaps to him rather than my intended target, resulting in my hp advantage from the fight up to this point being squandered and me eating a mastiff round to the noggin.
