@hayhor I think it depends on the area of the map. There are some areas of the map that he's defintiely at a disadvantage but there are areas where he's really strong. Bonsai he can be super OP. The big open area near Hamond building he can be a tad weak he's just a huge target in the open areas. But I think most legends have strong areas and weak areas this season.

@DarthValtrex That isnt any different than the other maps tho. KC has the big ditch area where if you try to cross as caustic or any character you'll get murdered. WE has huge open areas too. You just have to play to the characters strengths. And one option you have on Olympus is the trident. I flank gas bombed two teams in a win today while my teammates killed them.
- 5 years ago@hayhor While I don't think the map makes Caustic weak, it makes him so inconsistent to play with where you land and the ring moves you.
As far as good Caustic locations go the only ones would probably be Elysium, Hydroponics, Gardens and Estates. The rest are too big to defend or are large open areas.
Caustic is always a character who is at their strongest when fighting in enclosed spaces and tight positions and weak when transitioning to another spot.
While this philosophy is still true to an extent when transitioning, it's not so consistent when you're holding down an area that the designers didn't give him enough love for.
A shame
