Caustic should've been nerfed a long time ago. He can put SIX traps at once with only 25 seconds cooldown and just destroys your health in tight spots. It's just too annoying and OP.
I think most people fail to realize that caustic carries his own cover and can deploy them anywhere. His nox containers basically cover his entire model when crouched behind.

I dislike this fat gas bag as much as the next. But also enjoy playing with him time to time.
Nerfing him would do great injustice. He's one of the few which can lock out CQC zoning.
Each legend has a niche. This is his. Even though it fills me with rage when I die to it. Nerfing is quite unnecessary.
