I was happy to get a load of games in before I made any serious comments on her, and I don’t like screaming nerf in the first day of release but she is frustrating the hell out of myself and friends right now. It’s all about that ultimate, my god it’s strong! I don’t see her pick rate dropping a huge amount because she’s a decent all round character, so something needs addressing to tone that thing down, I’m no expert but maybe a few tweaks to handling and bullet drop might help. I don’t mind being sniped at and using cover to heal etc, but it just devastates so quickly unlike any other sniper including the Kraber because it’s so slow with bullet drop to deal with. Just wanted to point out that the removal of jump towers on KC is making this situation much worse, traversing the map on foot in a lot of open areas just means multiple Vantages are always taking pot shots at you. I’ve tried using speed boost characters like MM but the sniper is so easy to hit with I’m just getting very frustrated.

I think we might have another Sheila Rampart situation where it’s hard to balance a legend’s ultimate which is a gun. If I were Respawn, I would do a “wait and see” approach until the hype dies down. The tactical and passive are actually balanced in my opinion and the ult that might need a little bit of tweaking.

Her passive is a guaranteed red shield no matter which shield you start with. Making her even more over-powered.In my scrub lobbies I don't seem to have much trouble playing against her, but I have to think that's because most of the players who chose her are not already coming from a sniper mindset the way I am. I'm not sure they'll ever figure out how to use her effectively, but in higher skilled lobbies? Look out. She's definitely the new Valk.And I guess that's the point. The new think at Respawn is to make legends who are a mash up of old legend skills in lethal combinations because they give less-skilled players a leg up, and they give legacy players new reasons to grind a battle pass for skins.Like Valk, she needs to go.

Don't know. Still don't see why she gets all the info. How many teammates, armour, bulletdrop indicator... Don't have a problem with the ult though, as it has the tradeoff of being seen from across the map.

I have to agree with @CCbathwater and @Lord_Scorpion34 I do not think she is OP, is she a pain in the neck yes but so are all legends in some way or another.It's is def not like she is in the Place Seer was upon his release, which was terribly broken and overpowered. Her tac is nice but repositioning it takes time as well as actually making the jump. It is quite a bit slower to use than Lobas bracelet, octanes jump pad or horizon's lift.Her passive is pretty decent and great with scopes but that is kinda like seer, however she cannot see through walls.The Ult is powerful an ults should be, Gibbys Ult can wreck a whole team. Her Sniper can wreck a team member maybe if the team is unaware it can wreck two members but not a whole team in and of itself. Valks Ult is also very powerful and currently even more so since the ring changes almost making her a must to be on a team just because here ULT is sooo powerful now. One could argue her ULT is OP. Vantage is not a must have team member and her Ult is not a must have need on a team. I like her (vantage) she can be fun but is not a must have and will never fully replace Octane for me.

@Cheese9Man I played Vantage the first couple days, since I had a 5k dmg challenge for her. One thing I noticed right off the bat, is that her tactical cooldown could use a slight nerf, in my opinion. I felt like I had an Octane pad every 20 seconds or so, Lol. I had a lot of fun using her for a couple days though! Got some good matches and wins in, and just had fun with her kit in general. Definitely not replacing my beloved Pathy, but still another fun Legend for me to use for challenges and whatnot.

@IdleHandsNo1 I got shot with her once since the new season started, I really don't know how people are getting shot or annoyed by her. I think the only good thing on her kit is her tactical. People will adapt to her soon and she will certainly never be good for ALGS.

Tactical definitely needs a nerf, 20 secs is too low for selfish jumpad and their is something busted found with it every couple of days "Ignoring charge mechanic, the movement tech. with similarity to monkey snipers proposed tactical ability - that devs rejected", the other tech. that heal cancels and the portable heat shield that can combo with ult." I'm already annoyed that devs keep cramming movement down our throats and it's not helping that this one can do more than the intended idea. I'm mostly fine with ult "imo really ridiculous that people want another sniper's damage nerfed and this one has a laser sight so you know to go in cover, I admit I was concerned before she came about it, but 50 to 100 is doable" but the bullet drop does need a change, it's at a higher base than every other sniper in game.

Didn't feel threatened by Vantage all that much in gold, reached P4 and often getting two tapped off the get go. It's only a matter of time before players start realizing how good she is.

@Alphabets I guess there always has to be that one person who argues black is white! So I’ll say this, most regular folk don’t care how good she’s going to be ALGS lol. And I wouldn’t bother wasting time posting on here if myself and my team (including randoms) weren’t being harassed by her constantly. And to prove the point it’s not just me being terrible at dodging her super sniper, I hear nothing but her voice line’s saying she’s tagged prey when she’s on my team, and I my be mistaken but isn’t that her voice line for hitting with the ultimate?
