I see, so reducing muzzle flash is cheating? How about the aim assist that is 95% of the skill involved in console gameplay - perhaps we need to remove that too and see what skill actually looks like on consoles?
Reducing it made the game for the better, and since the dawn of times (ever since quake - we PC players have always adjusted our config files, something you would never understand as an Console player. Is reducing shadows also cheating? Or setting graphics to low? Changing your FOV also cheating? You understand that these are actual commands in the engine that are used in almost every other game that is running this engine? Thats why they removed the command from the engine, since they cant "ban" people from actually using commands that are avalible from the source engine. Guess you´ll continue being a clueless console player.
Again I see no "facts" just some random console player making an argument that "ooh people cheat in other games, hurr durr lets chase Apex streamers cuz they must be cheating". If people abused the ALT+F4 they should be dealt with, there is no defending that. But no actual top Apex streamer did that. There was a few non competitive players who did. And I´m pretty sure they also got banned. The aimbotters that are hard to deal with is not the 1 frame HS ones, its the more sophisticated ones that take time to defend against or actually notice btw.

Let me guess, you are probably that kind of guy, who thinks, using macros or scripts is also not cheating at all, and completly legit, right?
And why do you think they removed the commands from the engine?
Because it was all legit and abusers were able to reduced muzzle flashes, smokes and stuff? You think it was Respawns intention in the first place? I do not think so.
So, your argumentation makes no sense at all.
Using every advantage you can possibly think of to play a game is kind of pathetic to me and makes me sick. Or I am just too old for that stuff.
But with every comment from you it seems to me that you like to defend cheaters, streamers or cheating streamers. Oh but I fogot, in your world, cheating streamers don't exist, right?
Yeah... makes sense...
