@Koochi-Q To be fair the only down side to your idea is that people would start complaining that "WhY dOeS tHiS gAmE nOt PaIr Me WiTh PeOpLe WhO sHaRe My PlAyStYlE?!" Otherwise it's not bad. At least then when I'm camping a good defensive position and look at the mini map to see my "offensive" teammate run off into the distance, I can say "welp... should have seen that coming."

@Koochi-Q Theoretically its great. A lot of battles are lost with players making the wrong assumption about what their teammates are doing and therefore what they should be doing. I lean towards defensive and if I know I have two aggressive teammates it makes my decisions in battle simpler.
In regular matches it would be awful though. Players will immediately leave a match if they don't see at least one other aggressive member on their team. "Looters" will be harassed and likely hide as "Defenders" making the tag worthless. Would be useful in Ranked.

  @heme725 i actually think it's more to do with the fact lots of people think "yo im just aggressive and attacking im no camper" when really they just have really poor tactical/strategic intelligence.
  
  Majority of games I see losing is due to overeager players attacking opponents who hold advantageous positions.
  
  The alternate of this, is overeager players giving up advantageous positions to go and attack.
  
  It's one of the things I hate most about playing Apex.

@Extremejinks & @heme725 Yea thought about that too but being a descriptive thing, I think it won’t really matter to ppl that much as though they want to leave. For instance mow, if someone picks caustic or wattson you instinctively think ‘camper’, but you don’t see ppl leaving for that (at least I dont... unless you picked their character :P).

I think the majority will want at least 1 offensive player, but not to the extend that if they for instance have 2 defenders and 1 looter, that they’ll think ‘ohhh this will be a slow game, lemme just quit right now’.

You can always still ask ‘hey, what kind of offensive guy are you? Are you a kamikaze, (tactical) rusher, flanker, ‘there’s a battle let’s flank their bums even tho I only have 1 weapon’ offender (closely related to kamikaze XD) and so for each class. I specifically didn’t go into sub categories or else it’d be too long of a post :P

@1ronKeys, indeed that’s true. So that’s where the mic comes in and you can state which kind of sub class you are.

OR less popular option, in-game announcement by character. You select the class as a quip, lets say looter, and then your sub class like “I’m not getting into any battle without being fully decked” or “I may be a looter but if you spot an enemy close, I’ll attack” and so on... both sound like something mirage would say :P

  @Koochi-Q So couldn't you do the same thing with a sort of fleshed-out profile system? I know Overwatch has been referenced earlier on but if you look at someone's profile there's soo much data it's ridiculous. I'd like to see that in general. It would kinda do what you're describing just in a more roundabout way tbf.

    @GH0STEDbyME Yea but if you have a full fledged profile to look through, it takes time. Seeing only the playstyle I think is enough to kinda know who you’re dealing with.
