common crafting materials in epic pack
When I finally reached level 26 and achieved the longed for epic loot pack I got 15 crafting materials from epic apex pack, how is this possible? Can’t even craft a common item from that amount of ...

Most likely 1 epic item. Craft material drops are rare (from my experience).
And no, only 1 item should be epic (or legendary), not all. The most usual Epic pack reward should be 1 epic + 2 common items (in your case - 1 of those was a crafting mats drop).
Ok, these season rewards sucks imho - all the skins rewarded for grinding levels are ugly and the progression is slow, but hey, that’s probably a good strategy for getting people to spend money. Frustrating tho
