Community issue

I love this whole referring to people as "kids" to demean them in a weak attempt to enforce ones own point, kind of ironic how immature it makes the user sound.

The issue wasn't that you had to pay it was the amount. Respawn acknowledged this and frankly there's no point speculating on who's right or wrong as a result.

To those happy to spend large amounts of cash on the game...by all means do your thing nobody is stopping you, but you shouldn't expect everyone else to want to do the same.

On the flipside the demanding of free skins constantly is unreasonable too.

There needs to be a healthy balance and i'm hoping that's what respawn achieve going forward.

I get it that some skins should be rare and NOT attainable by everybody. I don't believe that everything should be handed out to everybody, or make everything to easy to attain, but how they structured IC is wrong and is kind of a slap in the face to a large chunk of the players (who are not spending as much as others.... me included).

Some skins should be rare and stay that way. I'm all in favour of that. If you want BH heirloom and charge £35.00 for it fine, but I don't want that locked behind a further 22 other items which have to be bought.

If the other skins were unlockable through gameplay but the time frame makes it difficult for most players to unlock EVERYTHING, that's fine, but at least give the players the opportunity to try. No loot boxes, just a scale of what's needed to acquire the skin(s) of your choice be that challenges or levels. i.e what skin are you after.... then do this challenge to get it.... People could then focus their gameplay to get what they want.

The Heirloom could remain as an unlock for the total completion of all the I.C content. A slightly different coloured Heirloom for those who want to purchase it outright without doing all the challenges... They could price this one item higher because it's rare, but it'd be x1 payment for x1 item. The prestige would be in the unlocked one as this would be earned. Gold for the earned and a silver for purchased.

This is just an idea I've had on the fly, so please don't pick it apart if I've overlooked anything lol. Suggestions or improvements to the idea are welcome though 🙂

Just to underline my point that some things should be rare and not gettable for everyone, but not to hold players to ransom over. This is why I think rare items should be gameplay related imo.

@iBlockHead  I'm not trying to argue about anything just saying there must be some kind of compromise. If you missed that part you are reading what you want to read. Compromise will be the only thing that can make things better not the best but better. You will always have someone complaining about something and you can't stop that. Say what you will though that's what these forms are made for.
