Conduit, Rev, and horizon need to be nurfed into the ground.

Why did they even do that rev rework? Just buff his kit there was no need to give him extra health on demand.

  • I agree they are far more “crutch” legends than the others.

Horizon is in a better place now than she was but she is still the most effective movement Legend in the game, simply because her passive allows her to walk around like she’s on a different game engine.

Conduit and Rev are problematic to me because getting that much health that quickly simply by pressing a button feels like a “win this fight for free card”. At least Rev’s is an ultimate. But Conduit being able to heal her team and herself, on a simple button push, without any movement penalty— that’s insane.

Don't worry they eventually get around to nerfing all the characters.  That is the unwritten law of PvP games.  They release a real cool character and then whiny players, with first world issues, come into the forum and cry about it.  Then the developers take the 0.05% opinion and make them completely useless.  Case in point, I recall a bunch here crying about how BAD the Arenas were on Apex.  So they just removed them altogether and now we don't have AR.

BTW it is Nerf™ not nurf the company sells safe sports products like foam rubber bats and footballs.  Hence the meaning of softening up anything so it no longer hurts you.

@SDS_JuggernautTVI agree with you to some extent. Horizon, in particular, has been dominant for a long time, and rev and conduit are also strong right now. And through that, I think EA and Respawn are passive in solving in-game problems...

Several games are being released that compete with Apex Legends, including Valorant, The Finals, Overwatch 2, and Lego Fortnite.

And while their management is doing their best to satisfy users by offering a number of ways, including balancing and updating in-game in short cycles, and cheap selling of high-quality skins, recent EA and Respawn don't seem to be making that effort for Apex Legends and its users..

Countless users beg EA and Respawn to buff some legends(Valk, Ash, etc), but I think EA and Respawn don't focus on what they say....

  • @SDS_JuggernautTV Legends will never be fully balanced so they'll always make changes to tweak the meta. With so many legends and abilities, it just gets more difficult the more legends they have, too.

@Axs5626Sxa5001 I've got some time playing the finals and fully agree that a one button press for free health is much too easy. In that game the healer has to pull a heal item, aim and press the trigger to use it. They can't shoot when healing so they are exposed. It seems a lot more balanced for me.
  • I do believe that Conduit will see some nerfs sooner or later, and hopefully Revenant as well.  (Personally, I'm in no rush, though.  I'm doing better with Conduit than I have with any other legend).  As for Horizon, it's worth mentioning that her real problem for other players is her passive.  It's a known thing, but it seems to get lost in the shuffle as complaints about her focus on the Gravity Lift.  The ability to land right behind people silently is, to me, the biggest issue with her.

@pandareno1999 It's the combination for me. Her whole team can land right behind you with no sound. Octanes ultimate can be heard from miles away.
  • Another thing worth noting about this Space Scotland brat is that I feel like she doesn’t take slowdown when being shot; probably associated with the passive. This translates into her pulling off extremely odd strafes during 1v1. I feel like she just skates around.
