Control legend feels more like a nerf than a buff this Season

Anyone feeling the pinch? I get it. The developers wants to create a counter play towards control legends. But the smoke perks is too much. My teammates plan to quit this season entirely due to constantly bombarded by smoke grenades which instantly destroys their fences and ramparts shields.
