Wraith seems to be a long range character just because enemies can use your portal, it's best use is having one end in a safe space and one end in a good shooting position that enemies are too far away to get to. I agree that caustic should deal more damage with his gas, right now it's at about mosquito level of annoyance to walk through when it should be semi lethal to walk through although I don't know why the robot is affected unless he has an air cooling system that would get clogged up with gas.
Caustic is a difficult character to both use and even gauge his worth. He doesn’t deal much damage with gas, so you/your teammates have to be able to be aware of and notice the pros of his gas to determine how well a Caustic is doing or how good the character is in general.
